Just got to say. A very good domestic style pizza. Good fresh ingredients. And would certainly go back again and again. My first try at this restaurant was the Laporte location. The owner will recognize I said we need one here in Lake County. With a beer and wine, and entertainment menu as well. I'm sure it would do very well. We haven't been happy with Dominoes. It made my bf sick twice, we get the deals and even for two people, with delivery is usually over $40 even with the "deals". We decided to try Wana again, it has been years since we had it and this location is really close to us. We ordered and picked up. My bf called and put the order in. I wanted a sauce for the pizza. He told her that and but when he ordered bread sticks she said that came with sauce too. So we didn't really need that. He said that was fine then. Thinking she took the one off. She didn't so we ended up paying for another sauce even though we didn't need it with the bread. It was kind of deceiving. My bf walked in and there were people right there by the desk but more so back by the kitchen. He could see them but nobody noticed or heard him walk in. He had to call the place, standing at the desk to get someone to come and answer the phone to notice him. He hung up when she got to the desk and she's like oh they hung up. 🙄 Place is a typical little pizza place with seating. It's on the smaller side. Big windows and nice looking. The pizza was really good and we were happy but once it added up it was still almost $40 to get a two topping pizza and bread. Oh, this place deserves more than 5 stars! The food is always top notch, and the people there are always cheerful. Little pricey, but I get it... everything is going up in price. Always have a nice group dinner here. 6 tonight sharing food and friendship. No alcohol but free pop refills. Two, had very good beef sandwiches. Drained pepper chines. Not everyone likes the pepper juice making their bread soggy. Open-faced hoggy bread base for cheese sausage mushrooms and onions. Really good original sauce. They also have a sweet Italian sauce which went great with mushroom and pineapple Calzone. The other Calzone was sausage bacon and mushrooms with the original sauce. Of course we shared the Cinnamon bites. Warm pizza dough with cinnamon and good glaze. We all left full and happy. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
