Entire Lego aisle is locked behind glass. There were no nearby employees to open glass. When I talked to a worker they said that they didn't know how to open it. The Target across the street doesn't have any of these issues.

Grocery pick up person is RUDE & IRRESPONSIBLE!!! I just placed a $330 order for pickup being a busy mom, that truthfully can be a lifesaver (Target would never/HAS never). When my husband greeted the employee, he didn’t respond. He loaded the order into my trunk, slammed it and walked away without saying anything again. We were confused as to how quickly he was able to pack up the order and questioned it, but thought well we pack our stuff pretty well when we do have the time to go ourselves. So we drove home, when we got home and I had a chance to check the groceries- I realized we had received a completely different order. I tried to contact the store to see if there was ANYWAY my order was still there and we could come get that but I tried EVERY line they had and NOBODY picked up. Worst customer service. The store has a decent selection and stock most of the time. But they really need to up their Grocery Pickup staff and quality because this location is one that required self checkout. There’s no excuse as to why this just happened.

Applied for an Asset Protection Investigator position. Was contacted by an amazing hiring leader within the store. She said the pay ranges from $17.00 to $21.00 an hour. She said to include my experience on the website application to get a higher range. The website application highlights a range of $17.00 to $26.00 an hour. After applying I was sent an offer for $17.80. Informed the HR representative who sent the offer I bring over 6 years of AP experience, 4 years of military experience, and a bachelors degree. She explain that's why they brought the offer from $17.00 to $17.80 an hour. Walmart struggles to hire and struggles with loss and shrinkage. Maybe if they actually paid commensurate to an applicants abilities and stops low balling qualified applicants they'll get somewhere.

So when yeall just gonna evolve far enough in the future where the tap is a possible option for payment?! We have to bag our own stuff ya know that’s cool but to have a little girl come over to us and demand as nice as possibly that we rate the store 5 stars ofc people are gonna speak on this. Didn’t even ask how I was doing or if we found anything ok. The staff themselves are going introverted where common decency is only found when entering the store it’s sad I found the door greeters at least sometimes are more chill and welcoming than anyone else! Keep the contact to a minimum and if there is any make sure it’s done in a more positive uplifting manner✌️✌️thanks for coming to my ted talk!

I used to like shopping here. However, there aren't any employees around to ask for assistance. They stopped carrying lamp oil and wicks. Home goods in general are just a lot different. The automotive department has the BEST customer service I've had in years! The self checkout attendants are very helpful and pleasant. I didn't go to the grocery side of this visit.

The quality customer service is fantastic! I love how the greeters interact and say good morning and have smiles on their faces. They make Walmart more inviting. They don't let you leave without a smile.

This is a decent Walmart. Associates are well mannered as if their parents actually whooped them for misbehaving. Which is hard to find in 2023. The product has always been stocked well, even on weekends, and quality has been nothing to complain about. Well done!

This location needs to be reviewed. A customer made a complaint about a Walmart employee standing way too close to her while she was using her card to pay for her groceries. She wouldn't move. The customer talked to her managers about it. Then the Walmart employees in these picture cam, sat near her to be a nuisance. Then another employee followed the customer to the outside of Walmart while she was loading her groceries into a car. UNACCEPTABLE

Everything well-stocked and a nice greeter gave me directions to the craft area. I also picked up an online order. The young man who answered the phone was prompt and so was the man who brought my ordered out. Great transactions overall. From Norfolk and will return to this Chesapeake location!
