Great local place to eat! They have a nice selection of coffees and great breakfast and lunch options. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly.

Stood and waited for almost 10min while 7 employees walked around us near the register. We asked if we could order something 1 girl said "yes give me a min"
6 minutes later we asked another girl if we could just order a coffee to go, and she said "nobody has helped you yet?" Nopee we were the only ones standing there, they all seen us the whole time. So she took our order, we ordered 1 of 2 coffees and as we finished saying the first coffee order she walked away.. Strangely i asked another girl "are we only able to put in one order at a time?" "She said no, sorry that the girl is a little weird and related"
So now we put in our second coffee order.
Almost 30min later we got 2 specialty coffees, hot, walked outside.
Both tasted our coffees which Literally tasted like A Regular coffee with cream and sugar.
It's definitely a waste of time, money and wont be back..

A small place, but a good one. I have eaten here many times over the years, and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The waitstaff is friendly, the entrees reasonably priced, and the food is good. I would recommend The Village Bean to anyone in Chepatchet/Pascoag looking for a good little breakfast nook. Good specialty coffees, too!
