Ordered through Uber Eats evening of 1/12/24. $136 total. Ordered fried artichokes, Caesar salad, house salad, garlic bread, osso buco, carbonara, and tiramisu. Osso buco and salads were the only dishes worth eating. The carbonara was made with Alfredo sauce. Super disappointed; when you know carbonara sauce (egg yolk, Parmesan, and pasta water) you look forward to it. I tossed it. The fried artichokes were so heavily breaded and really just tasted like the oil they were cooked in. Tossed those to. Garlic bread was four crostini’s spread with roasted garlic and burned. Tossed ‘em. Tiramisu tasted like garlic. I can only surmise it was stored in a refrigerator with garlicky foods. I used to manage an Italian restaurant, so I have some good knowledge about Italian food prep, etc. The highlight was the osso buco, which can be easily ruined if you are not patient. Well done there, but we won’t be ordering from Veneto again. Uber refunded $3.52 for the garlic bread 🙄

We started with the antipasto plate. Was a nice spread of meats and cheeses. For entrees, I had the gnocchi with meat sauce and meatballs. It was fantastic. My wife had the spaghetti bolognese, and it was also excellent. She ordered the chocolate cake for dessert. It was decadent and delicious. Outstanding meal overall. I'm excited to go back and try other dishes.

Our server was very very nice but a good waiter he was not, he came back to our table twice to ask us our order, I ordered an appetizer and juice for my kids I had to ask the woman delivering my kids meal for juice for them, and we never got our appetizer. One of the dishes we got was chicken piccata and swear to god it wasn’t even a full chicken breast and I would say the size was comparable to a third of an organic style chicken breast, not the ginormous hormone pumped breasts you can buy and I have never in my life seen vegetables served with chicken piccata and 98% of the plate, was the over cooked mushy vegetables, however I was appreciative of the amount of capers given most restaurants don’t give a ton of capers with piccata and it’s a shame. The fettuccine Alfredo was not homemade and if it was OY, if you go the only way to help it is to add an acid I suggest lemons that at least makes it edible and it screamed PLEASE add some seasoning a little S&P maybe garlic.

Always enjoy eating here. Went out for my daughters birthday dinner on Thursday night. Normally, they aren't packed, but this night, they were. It's a little slower service than normal but still great food.

So my beau and I visited Venetos for the first time about 4:00 pm on a Saturday. It was early, we hadn't eaten lunch, so stopped in for an early dinner. So glad we did. We were seated right away by a pleasant food server. There is a happy hour menu of drinks and plates. Within about 5 minutes, we had warm bread with dipping olive oil plunked on our table. So good, we ordered a second batch of bread, only $1! I had a well drink, around $3.50 which is so reasonable and a happy hour plate of calamari in lemon sauce, $9.95. The calamari was so tasty, so very tender, a new dish for me which I'd have again. My beau had a lasagna off the main menu. Again, delish. $15 I think? It was served in its own baking dish, a decent portion, not ungodly huge, and the tomato sauce had cream in it which I love. Really good. I gave the atmosphere a 3 because this restaurant is in a strip mall and the decor is nothing fancy. Very clean, tables in good shape, nice booths, just nothing to rave about. Oh, I almost forgot. We took home some tiaramisu and cannolli. OMG good! The creamist, with subtle coffee flavor, not over the top which ruins the dessert, tiaramisu I've ever had. The cannaloni was crispy, again superb flavor.
I'd stop in again with any excuse just to buy dessert! I'm looking forward to returning and exploring the rest of the menu. With food this good, Italian food will give my favorite food, Thai, a run for its money. Highly recommend!

We wanted to love this place so bad. Nice quaint restaurant. The service we received was warm and friendly. The clean establishment and had a relaxing Italian music in the background. But, the food was awful. My spaghetti and meatballs was bland and the meatballs were cold. I only ate half of a meatball and 3 bites of of the spaghetti. My wife's Salmon Risotto was also hard to eat. The Salmon was overcook and dry. The Risotto was cooked whole rice with sweet cream. It was not Risotto. And her mixed vegetables were soggy and bland.

Yesterday we decided to go to a restaurant we had been a little curious about for years. Veneto Italian Restaurant in Silverdale, Washington.
Honestly, it isn't much to look at from the outside; The location is in a small strip mall around a few other small restaurants and stores. So the "visually" pleasing part of it isn't there. However, walking inside, it was cozy and cute; not a lot of seating options available but more of a warm feeling.
Gabriela was our server; she was warm and very pleasant with a beautiful smile.
Looking through the menu, I noticed the large array of items to choose from, each one sounding better than the last one, but I've always stood by the notion that more isn't necessarily better; it usually means something has to compromise quality or amount wise.
However, for that said, our dinner last night was incredible!
We started with a warm bread basket with an olive oil and herb dip, then moved on to the appetizer: six coconut prawns with a pineapple apricot dipping sauce; I could have eaten only that for dinner and been full. It was so good!
We then moved on to our main dinner. BTW we shared our plates.
I ordered Lobster Ravioli Bobbyno; which contained five (I believe) large lobster ravioli, around a half-dollar size, with shallots and a cheese cream sauce, and a balsamic drizzle; it all just worked perfectly and tasted so good! The Lobster Ravioli came with a choice of regular dinner salad or Caesar, and I chose Caesar salad; the dressing was great, definitely not a bottle or packaged dressing!
My hubby ordered Pollo Veneto, a chicken sauteed in olive oil and fresh garlic. It also had spinach, tomatoes, and basil with hints of red pepper flakes and parmesan. Plated alongside all of that were fresh veggies and angel hair pasta. Talk about something full of flavor, and the textures were perfect!
Veneto was clean, with no dirty tables or crumbs on the floor and no sticky menus!
I did notice that the booths that surrounded us (we sat at a middle table) had large bottles of hand sanitizers on them; unfortunately, the tables did not, but we always come prepared anyway!
I am rating this a four star, not due to the food at all, but the restaurant is cute but a little dated and I wish they offered a couple of smaller tables to use, not tiny, but not so overwhelming for two people.
Plenty of parking spaces are available, so parking is not an issue.
Veneto Italian Restaurant's location is 9468 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington.
Several small businesses surround them, including Joy Teriyaki, Silverdale Antique store, Liv a Latte, and across Silverdale Way lies Grocery Outlet, Greens on your Way, and Harbor Freight tools.
Now is a perfect time to support one of our local small businesses and have some great food😁

This place is absolutely amazing. They are setting the standard for Italian food in Kitsap County. Small bit don’t let that deter you. Very good food at reasonable prices. Excellent service.
Customer service is good but the food portions for the money we paid was not reasonable. We ordered to go, a pizza, fettuccine alfredo, and antipasto salad. When we received our order 😢😢😢😢 the bag was lighter than a helium balloon. Very small portions and we had ordered large sizes. Although the flavor was good but this guys need to improve on the serving size. Compared to other Italian restaurants this one we won't be back. Sorry.
I had been craving some good lasagna, when I was visiting from out of town. The reviews say this place is good but the food is just ok. The lasagna was obviously heated up with tons of cheese and more cheese with yellow sauce? Never seen that before.
