This family-run shop is quite the sweet treat with its incredible array of delicious baked goods! I was drawn in by the sign advertising fresh pumpkin donuts and they were super tasty - the texture was light, fluffy and had a crunch from the brown sugar crust. It went especially well with coffee. The blueberry pie had an incredibly delicious buttery crust and sweet local blueberries which created the perfect flavor combo. Hands down my favorite blueberry pie I've tried. Also tried the whoopie pie and pumpkin bread. Again, both were very fluffy, balanced sweetness, and great flavor. The pumpkin bread went really well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All the baked goods I tried were baked to perfection: just the right texture and not dense or overly sweet. I wish I had the chance to try some of their lunch options before my stay in Boothbay was over - I heard from folks in town that the lobster roll is great. I eagerly await my next trip to Boothbay so I can try the lobster roll and more from Phil's.
This 50-year old family business has always been an important part of our visits to Boothbay. The whoopie and key lime pies are the best you’ll ever have! Please note: Uncle Phil’s is not related to the food trucks and ice castle next door. It’s an entirely separate and very special business.

This place was amazing! Super cool accidental find on our way to gardens aglow! I absolutely recommend stopping here.
Interesting food selection lobster roll was a Connecticut style not a Maine Style, butter instead of mayonnaise but it was good

This is a bit of a tease because the ice castle won't be around much longer. But, keep it in mind for 2022. The business owners of food a go, who run food trucks for Garden's Aglow built this ice castle themselves to give people something unique to do in Maine. The structure was really nice and the food afterwards was really tasty.
We got in an accident in front of their place they were awsome

Had a delicious pesto, onion, zuchini and tomato woodfired pizza. Sat outside in the porch and enjoyed the beautiful flowers in the yard.
No inside dining and no public restroom, but lobster roll was delicious! Homemade pies looked great!
