We love Uncle Julio's, in fact we drive 30-45 minutes to eat here. Everything from the salsa to the carne asada steak is top notch.
Even when they are packed the wait staff does well with taking care of everyone.
I have no problem giving it 5 stars.
We have tried several items on the menu and haven't been disappointed, I'd make a recommendation but honestly everything we have tried has been pretty good, so to recommend one item over another would be an insult.
Try it you will understand.

They've changed up their menu since I was here last and added more veggie options. This was great for me, and they still have plenty of traditional meaty options for the rest of my family.
Our server Luis was great, and the manager stopped by the table to check in a couple of times.

It has been years since I ate at Uncle Julio's. Which brings up the question, what is wrong with me? I simply had forgotten HOW GOOD Uncle Julio's food is.
The wife and I got the shrimp and crab meat enchiladas for lunch. It was Great! Hot, tasty and fast. I think it was a bit over 20 bucks for each plate which seems the going rate, at similar places. The waitress was attentive and got us chips and salsa and drinks quickly.
If your in the Spring Tomball area, you won't go wrong eating at this Uncle Julio's.

My husband and I ate here for the first time for dinner last Sunday night (Feb.18th: between 7:30-8:30 p.m.). Staff was friendly. Service was okay. Food okay. However, while we were there trying to enjoy our dinner, employees were moving dollies full of kitchen equipment and dishes. This was very noisy and it happened throughout the evening. Piles and piles of plates and other supplies were packed onto tables in the last dining section of the restaurant, near the restrooms. (We were seated at the last table, closest to the back dining room.) So, we had to listen to the noisy restaurant supply movements, in addition to having to walk through this on the way to the restroom. Not sure if there was a storage emergency in the kitchen or what; but the noise made the experience awful.
Also, the rice appeared and tasted like it was instant Uncle Ben's 90-sec in the microwave rice. Hoping this was just an off-night for this place.

Great Mexican cuisine location in Spring, TX! Started a bit rough since the host didn’t really speak to us when we were first seated (kind of just led us to our table without a hello), but our server, Sydney, turned the experience around. Food was pretty great! Got to try the Guadalajara plate. Wasn’t too impressed with their skirt steak fajitas, but their chicken fajitas and their bacon wrapped shrimp was delicious. Their chile con queso was also pretty good. Overall a pretty great first visit to Uncle Julio’s.

Loved the chocolate pinata! Absolutely unique, fun, and tasty! The regular meal was good, but there's no heat or spice. And if you're going to have a thing about bringing fancy water in a bottle, at least get a good filter and chill it. Warm and tastes like straight from the tap. Service was very good. Prices were dependent on what you order, moderate to high. Worth a trip just for the chocolate pinata!

It has been a while since dining at Uncle Julio's. The chips were not warm but fresh, and the salsa seemed a little watery but had nice flavor. I ordered one of each cheese and beef enchilada, and my husband ordered one of each a chicken and cheese enchilada and beef taco. I enjoyed both enchiladas. My husband was not a fan of the chicken enchilada. The chicken was pulled and had good flavor, but the sauce poured over the chicken enchilada added nothing. The sauce was kind of thin, with no real flavor.
Service was good. The overall dining experience was okay.

Went here on a weekday afternoon. Got enjoy all the chips and salsa while getting ready to order !
I had gotten the steak fajitas and must I say the tortillas they make in house are soooo good. They are delicious and be sure to ask for more.
Service was good! They were thoughtful and made sure we had all we needed.
Atmosphere is pretty much the same across all uncle Julio’s. It had a dark rustic feel but it’s cozy.
They also have bar!

Went for early dinner on a Friday night. Was seated in a fair amount of time. James our waiter was amazing! The food was really good, margaritas were a 7.5 out of 10. Me favorite Mexican restaurant since we’ve been in Texas so far! We will be back.
