Loved the smoked salmon sushi and sashimi, saba/ mackerel, mango roll, gold point roll, sushi pizza, well... everything, really. Reasonable $30 eat all you can sushi. We used to drive to the Woodlands at Chi's but am glad to have Umiya nearby. Service and food presentations, besides the taste and umami, are awesome as well. Our new go-to sushi place. Highly recommended 👌

It is a steal to get the all you can eat option if you come in hungry.
Not a lot of vegetatian/vegan options but there's some sushi rolls without meat.
Food was really good and served promptly after being ordered.

We enjoyed dinner here last night and it was all around amazing. We did the all you can eat, and everything was so delicious and great quality. Some of our faves were the snowcrab salad, hibachi steak, combo fried rice, numerous rolls & tempura cheesecake. It was hard to keep track at a certain point - there were just so many good things! Our server, Rosie, was absolutely amazing, 11/10 service - she was just so sweet & patient! We loved her. The interior design is really cute with the cherry blossoms as well. You just need to follow the ground rules, come hungry, try to pace yourself & have a great time :) we look forward to coming back!

I grew up loving this place and I was quite sad seeing that it was under construction for a bit. But overall, the food and everything was amazing. The portions are so much better and so much more flavorful. The staff had a positive attitude towards the guests here. I much prefer what they have going on now. The new management is great.

Umiya is a restaurant that provides an excellent dining experience for sushi lovers. The establishment offers two types of menus - one à la carte and the other all-you-can-eat. Both menus offer excellent service and flavors. If you opt for the all-you-can-eat menu, you will not be disappointed with the service size, as it is generously portioned. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with murals and LEDs, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The servers are very enthusiastic and provide excellent customer service, making your visit a memorable one.

This is now my go to sushi restaurant. We did the all you can eat for $30 dollars and not only was the sushi tasty but it also had great presentation. We also enjoyed the hibachi meats, noodles, fried rice and deserts for one fair price. Everything was included. The menu of options was huge. Also loved the atmosphere and ambiance. Great for a date night or just out with the family. I will definitely be back!

Checked out Umiya (formely Asian City) this weekend for date night, and it did not dissapoint. They still have hibachi tables (where they cook in front of you) and you can also order off a regular menu. We went for the all you can eat sushi. It's so much more than sushi. There menu is huge. Soups, salads, rolls, tempura, desserts. You can't try it all in one visit. We had there shashimi and it was so fresh and served beautifully on a bed of ice. We had many so many rolls and they were great. The rice for the sushi was perfect. The service was prompt and friendly. Mckayla our waitress was more than willing to make sure out experience was exceptional. The GM Sunny (He was the GM of Asian City) was so nice and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The jalapeno tempura was excellent. We really enjoyed the yellowtail and tuna. We loved the muscles were delicious. The fried oreos and cheesecake are a must. Ultimately this place is great. I would highly recommend checking them out.
