Easy to find and plenty of parking. We were greeted fast and seated quickly. Jackie was our waitress, and she was awesome. I had one of their special burgers. It was a burger with cheddar, bacon, sausage, and BBQ. It was delicious. The cheese curds and fries were really good, too. I highly recommend this place for some good food and cold beer. Very nice spot, it's a vegan friendly place, they have 4 options of vegan burgers. The offer Beyond burger, Impossible burger, Black bean and corn burger and quinoa burger. The black bean-corn burger was a one of two homemade patties, it was nice but definitely on spicy side, so maybe it would be nice if they write it in the menu. I liked it but I don't handle hot peppers, so I would next time choose some of the less spicy burgers. Very very friendly staff and nice space. The food was incredible. My husband and I ate here while on vacation for our wedding anniversary and we live 5 hours away. If it tells you how good this food was, I’d drive 5 hours just to eat here again. We chose this tavern because it had good reviews. I had the blackened mahi, and my wife ordered the yellowfin tuna dish. The mahi and the tuna had good seasonings and were tasty. You can order the tuna at the internal temperature you desire. My wife ordered 135, and what was served was more like 60, which she didn't like. We swapped fish, and she liked my mahi, and I liked the tuna. We both had fresh green beans, and they had barely been cooked. They were tough and crunchy, like raw green beans. We love the food here at Two Roads. During the height of the pandemic this was the restaurant that we did lots of takeout from. Seafood is amazing! Today we stopped in for lunch and got to sit inside. Food is still amazing & staff is attentive, friendly & on the ball. Definitely our go to for fresh seafood when we are OBX.

We came to Two Roads Tavern based on the Google reviews. First off we were disappointed to find that the oysters are farm raised. Being from New England, we are oyster snobs and only order oysters if they are fresh. Next, we ordered the fried pickles because the reviews were so glowing, we found them VERY salty and the coating mushy. For our meals, we had the spinach salad, the mahi-mahi, and the pickle brine chicken sandwich. Those meals were very good-no complaints. Our server was very attentive. Loved it here. Our server, Jack, was awesome. She was very charismatic and attentive. She checked on us often which is always nice. Made us feel like we were being taken care of and seen as actual people instead of just another table to wait on. The food was also very good, I'm definitely a huge fan of the fired pickles and the local brewed beers. Would fully recommend and we plan on visiting again during our next Outer Banks trip.
