We were traveling through Hays and found this great place for dinner and drinks! Amazing service and well done beer/drinks. We started with the onion blossom which was lightly battered (little heavey on the pepper) and good ranch. Then ordered the Trio N.Y.O. Buffalo Mac & Cheese that had nice chunks of chicken and a delicious creamy cheese sauce. We also ordered the German-style Green Bean Dumpling soup. [Side note: I grew up with German food and a first-generation German/Italian step-mom. We also cook with a larhe variety of spices including fresh ground roasted peppercorns.] This was nice and creamy with small chunks of potatoes, green beans, bacon, & wonderfully done dumplings... However, the pepper was so overwhelming (I was thankful we only ordered a cup of soup with a side of bread) it was not as enjoyable as it could have been. This was a nice stop for dinner while traveling across the country. The service is fast and very friendly. My Old Fashion was excellent. Dinner was good.
