Honestly very disappointing. Used to be my regular hang out with cocktails. The food is absolutely garbage, birra tacos more like saggy, cheap taco shell. We also got fajitas. The meat was so tough that it wasn’t worth eating because it was more of a jaw work out than anything. It’s white washed Mexican that’s a step up from Taco Bell but not by much. I know it’s under new ownership, I hope they see this, and apply it to better their restaurant. Won’t be coming back. I cannot stress enough how bad this place has turned out to be. Aside from the only thing they have going for themselves which are the lovely workers, the food is insulting to the Hispanic community. Nothing is authentic and coming from someone who actually tried most of the food items, I only looked forward to taco bar and the pre made margaritas but to each their own. This is the best Mexican food I have had in a while. The whole family enjoyed the food. The service was great and the waitress was pretty good. 12-15-78 - Dinner was great. Service was wonderful. Service was wonderful and our waitress was so great! BUT as you can see I’m giving 2 stars. I’ve been coming to tres hombres since I was 15 years old and have always loved the food! I got my usual 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans pretty simple… I don’t know who the new owners are or where they are getting the recipes for this new menu but the enchilada sauce was DISGUSTING to say the least. It tasted like a sugar cinnamon pastry but on enchilada.. I’m Soo disappointed as I have always loved this place but if the menu doesn’t change I won’t be back. Great Mexican food, recently they have redone their menu this was very much for the better. Most of the old menu items are still there but many new ones have been added.
