We used the smaller room for a family event and had the best experience. Catering was amazing to work with and planning was very smooth. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was exceptional. The wait staff were such pros and I could relax and enjoy the party. I can’t recommend Tres Scalini enough for a party. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Primo passo Tre Scalini, get someone on the grill who won't cook everything to death. While Tre Scalini is a nice location at the end of Wooster Street to gather with friends, the food left a lot to be desired. I had to saw my way though the Vitello Saltimboca and the same was true for the veal in the Vitello ala Guiseppe, if you could find it underneath all of the toppings. The salmon special probably spent as much time on the grill as all the other dishes. It was cooked through twice. Even the chicken on a Caesar salad was cooked to death and dry. The service was attentive and the overall atmosphere relaxed, but with so many great Italian restaurants in the area, there just isn't much incentive to give a place a second chance.
