It has gone downhill. Either they serve the meat from the day before or they have a new cook. I went on a Saturday morning at 8am. Prime time for hot carnitas and other meats. The carnitas were dry. The cueritos were very chewy and the barbacoa had lots of fat. This place used to be amazing. Not so much anymore. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Tortillas are on point but for some reason if you use your card, they have a 5% charge for credit or debit cards. Bring cash. Food is okay but the tortilla chips and tortillas are excellent. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The place isn't the fanciest to eat at but the food is as authentic as it gets. They even offer both types of barbacoa. Order the cabeza barbacoa for a more fatty option and the lengua for the lean. Both equally excellent. Fresh made tortillas too! Food: 5

One star because the tacos are alright. Negative how ever many stars I wish I could give on the service. They open at 5am. I show up at 5:15am. The lady tells me they are closed even though the doors are open and the food is made. I walk out and someone else pulls up and it's a Hispanic guy. Long story short I waited to see what they were going to tell him and sure enough they ask him what he wants. They weren't closed for him. I'm guessing I have to be Hispanic and not black or white to get some tacos because he sure and the f#&$ got some tacos.

Besides the taco place inside convenient store in Pasadena, this place makes the absolute Best tacos around. I'd probably eat here every day if it wasn't so hard to place an order. No one speaks English and I don't speak Spanish. Usually a co-worker would be there and order for me,or a customer will. I'd be there now if I didn't over sleep this morning. Oh yeah almost forgot this. They also have some of the Most Gorgeous Hispanic Ladies working behind the counter. And unfortunately for Me is, remember I don't speak Spanish..😭
