I love their cute little outdoor seating area. The service was really good. I liked the food, but the flour tortillas weren't exactly what I was hoping for. We're in-town for a soccer tournament for our U-14 girls and the coach who had been here before made reservations for the whole team plus families. So about 45 of us showed up and the staff handled us we ease and grace. Food was very tasty and the margaritas were top notch!! If we're ever here again... I'll be back!! The food is decent, but the carrots in vinegar were old and lacked good flavor. Given the price paid, attention to detail should be a priority. They heat the food in the microwave, mainly if you visit in the afternoon when the kitchen is about to close its first shift. However, the patio is lovely but the prices are elevated. We went there on a rainy Monday. Not the best time for a restaurant. The margarita was weak. I asked for a spicy one at the bar. But he gavel me a regular one. I then ordered the Tortilla soup. It was tasteless. Not much chicken in it. Very little avocado. My husband liked his enchilada. The place close at 2.00pm. We were kind of rushed out. We have been here previously when the owners are here. It's a better place ...it has been in Solana Beach a long time. We will give them another chance. First visit. Wow! Just about as authentic as Mexican food can get. A rare find even in San Diego. We sat in the beautiful heated patio which had tropical and local plants including a water fall. The food was absolutely delicious and proportioned. Don't miss this opportunity.
