I'm in town visiting family. My sister wanted to go out for a Valentine's outing. She suggested a restaurant that I won't mention. Instead I made reservations at The Village. We Fettuccini Alfredo with Blackened shrimp. The Lobster Ravioli, & Seafood Monterey Combo player. You could taste how fresh everything was. Fresh, good quality food and reasonable prices, especially in to crazy economy. Skip the "franchise restaurants"' come here for higher quality food that wasn't previously frozen! We waited for two weeks to get our Christmas eve meal from here. We were so excited to order in and have a relaxing night in and have breakfast for dinner…. We ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and the crab cake Benedict, what a huge disappointment. The eggs were hard boiled like to the point when I put my fork through it wouldn’t break the yolk at all…. The potatos we got were mashed practically they were so soggy and over cooked. Such a big difference than the first time we ordered. Well I called the restaurant to speak to the manager or owner a Spanish lady answered the phone and she barely spoke English on too for the fact that then when I asked her in Spanish if she was the person in charged she said yes….Wow. Anyway I told her the issues with the food and she just said ok… when I asked for the managers name she hung up on me. Nice way to be in-charged. Such a huge disappointment. We will not order from this place again…. Unfortunately because we had such a good experience the first time we ordered food from here we wanted to order again it honestly this place is not consistent and clearly management isn’t available.
