Party of 9 first time at restaurant , drove 30 mins to restaurant, very busy, seated in outdoor heated tent which was very comfortable, service was outstanding servers name was Billy, food was good, arrived timely cooked to order , drinks great as well. spent over 350..00 Only complaint when the check arrived noticed they add an up-charge for credit cards , unfortunately i don't agree with this policy , this us a business expense that shouldn't be passed onto customers unless posted at location , servers mention this at tine of taking order , not even mentioned on website, little deceptive, based on this up charge i won't be back. I went here a week or two ago, to see one of my favorite bands to go see locally, This Old Engine. It was cool, they have like a little tent/greenhouse thing, on a nice paved patio out back, and an outdoor bar I think. It was actually a really really nice spot for a show, to be honest. Good location, parking, decent sound, crisp libations, and good vibes all the way around. I didn't have any food or anything here, because I was just doing my own thing and seeing a band, but I did go inside for a beer twice. The bartenders were super accommodating, asked me what types of beer I like, and made recommendations, a much needed reprieve from the rest of my day. Also, they knew a bit about beer, always a plus. Place was generally.... nice. Old-school American pub. The type of place we love. Food looked good. Noted to self, to come back for a bite with mom one day, or maybe the better half. Looks like they do like, a biergarten type thing in the summer to. So all in all, I'll definitely be back for the next show, and back in general too. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great service but awful customer experience from management. We were really looking forward to coming here; heard great things. Staff were great- friendly, fast service, and very welcoming. The issue is with management. We ordered two draft beers and when the server delivered them he said we got the last two pours. One draft looked normal but one you could tell right away had zero carbonation and looked very flat, which it was. We didn’t drink the flat beer and alerted the server and ordered different beers. The server apologized and said he would take the flat beer off the bill. The bill comes and we’re charged for the flat beer, which was one of their more expensive beers. We paid, but when we asked the server what happened he said he had asked his manager and was told it was “too expensive of a pour” to remove from our bill. So, even though the beer was flat and undrinkable, and we could clearly tell because we had another draft of the same beer to compare it to, we had to pay. Very disappointing and as someone who works in customer service and has a lot of experience working in restaurants, this was the first time I’ve ever heard that lame excuse. So, I’m writing this review to caution those who go and experience any defective menu items: be prepared to pay for them. Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

It hurts my heart that I am just now experiencing this establishment. My family and I recently went here in November, and the food was outrageous. The smoked meatloaf, crock of chili and French onion soup were superb. Because of the flavors and hard work that went into those dishes, because you knew they were not just the normal flavors they were well executed, because of this I knew we would be back. Today in January 2024, we returned, and again the food was out of this world. I enjoyed for an appetizer, the calamari that had a curry sauce , on the bottom of the bowl that had flavors, no one would know went well together except a culinary genius . My dinner was the shrimp and grits. If I could explain my happiness in words, I would, but there will never be any words for the shrimp and grits that came out of that kitchen. I told our waiter that whoever is in the kitchen whether it be one executive chef or the entire team, they are doing a phenomenal job and I look forward to going back and trying the next incredible dish. It’s appears that everything coming from that kitchen is built with greatness and the kitchen staff should be very proud. If I was the owner of this place and had food coming out of the kitchen that delicious I would be a happy camper. The waiters and waitresses do not take a back step either. They are comforting, and are there for you with whatever you need. They work together during the entire dinner service so that the customer has an outstanding experience. Keep up the great work and the amazing food. To the owner: please don’t change a thing as far as your staff goes and just let your chefs keep creating magic. I thank you for the amazing quality and flavors in the food. Also the smokehouse smell upon entering is a great invitation to what you are about to experience. Atmosphere was fun and well decorated and the food was pretty good, especially the smoked wings. Service was just an absolute mess. We were sat at a table on the patio that had a pretty bad wobble. I asked the waiter twice if he could fix it. The waiter brought out one of our drinks (a soda) and never brought anything to fix the table so I used my dinner napkin to prop up the table. I had ordered a beer... 15 minutes later I was told the keg ran out so I ordered a different beer... 15 minutes later I was told the keg ran out. Finally I was told what beers were available so I picked one. By the time I was finally served a beverage (no waters were ever brought out) we had finished our appetizer and I had already began eating my entree. So we sat at the table for almost an hour before I was brought a beverage. Upon asking for the check is when the waiter noticed they had never fixed the table wobble and I was then asked if I needed a new napkin... We were done eating. One of our favorite spots in the area and always an excellent choice for comfort food and drinks! Rotating draft beer menu is fantastic. Great spot for families, grabbing a beer / food at the bar to watch a game or grabbing a quick brew on your own. Indoor and outdoor seating with high chairs available.
