From the moment we stepped into The Serving Spoon in Inglewood, we were enveloped in an atmosphere that felt like a warm embrace, reminiscent of the old school Southern restaurants that have been the backdrop to some of my most cherished memories with my elderly father, who is bravely living with dementia. Our breakfast experience here was not just a meal; it was a journey back in time, a rekindling of joyous moments shared over delightful dishes. The ambiance of The Serving Spoon exudes a charming, nostalgic vibe that immediately made us feel at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and attentiveness, ensuring our comfort and accommodating our needs with the utmost care and respect, which is especially important to me as a caregiver. Now, let’s talk about the breakfast - it was, without exaggeration, the best we’ve had in decades. Each dish was a testament to true Southern culinary craftsmanship, with flavors that danced on the palate and evoked memories of bygone days. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the attention to detail in the presentation was evident. Our experience at The Serving Spoon was more than just dining; it was a cherished memory in the making, a beautiful moment shared with my father that we will both hold dear. For anyone looking for an authentic, heartwarming, and utterly delicious Southern breakfast experience, I cannot recommend The Serving Spoon highly enough. It’s a rare gem in Inglewood that truly understands the art of hospitality and the timeless appeal of Southern cuisine. What's the Hype? This place has good reviews, ppl asking have eaten there before my answer now is yes. I went for breakfast one morning. The parking lot was full but lucky I found one. Walking in they have a kiosk and you can sign in for a placement. Once again I was blessed with a seat at the counter. The service was excellent as soon as I sat down I was greeted with a friendly face, and I ordered a waffle and chicken wings with scrambled eggs. When I tell you the chicken wing was on point 👉 🔥 the eggs were good. Now let's talk about the waffle. I was disappointed the waffle was flat and flavorless. And it wasn't fully cooked. I'll be back for some more of those chicken wings for sure! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
