Loved it. I was alone in town looking for a bar with great cocktails that also had good food. This place had more than I was looking for. Amazing drinks from cocktails to whiskey to their selection of beer. Delicious food, I'm a sucker for scotch eggs, didn't know what to expect from the lamb shank but it was one of the best I've had. And I wished I had space for more desert because that orange cake was delicious 😋 Its the most underrated description of a desert on a menu I've seen. I almost didnt get it. So bloody glad the bartender convinced me to try it. All of this in a friendly warm atmosphere where the staff were friendly as well as other guests and I didn't feel weird eating alone (female) and I wasn't ignored by staff. Loved my experience here. The food was absolutely amazing! This was pur second time coming here for a date night and we will be back many times! I don't think they have any bad food here. We had the Highland Gathering for an appetizer, my boyfriend had the fish and chips, and I had the lamb shank. It was my first time eating lamb and it was delicious! I was looking for Beef Wellington in St Louis and I saw a review about this restaurant and I decided to try it. I really enjoyed the plates that we ordered but I think that the Beef Wellington could be a entree, not a small plate😆! You have to try the banoffe bread puddin. We had the mini Beef Wellingtons, which were so delicious! Our only issue is that we didn't get more. We had the Duck Leg and Atlantic Salmon as well. Everything tasted wonderful--one of the best meals I have had in a while! It's a little pricey for the portions but is made up in flavor. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great evening!
