Working with Matt is excellent... eating his food is even better! I have been using Matt's services off and on for nearly 3 years (we have lived away from Lawrence for part of the time). I have some health issues that demand specific dietary requirements (low carb & mostly vegan), and Matt has been very accommodating. If something he suggests in the menu plan doesn't quite line up with my needs, or tastes, he finds adjustments or gladly takes my suggestions. And he is always game to take on new dishes to try. I just share a recipe link with any thoughts about how it might need adjusting for my diet and he cooks it. His meals are always delicious -- like the best home-cooking. It is a huge relief, time saver, and stress-reducer to have him prepare food each week, especially because my dietary needs limit eating many "convenience" options like take-out or frozen foods. Matt is also quite flexible with scheduling. If we need to skip a week because of travel or some other unexpected circumstance, it is easy to do. Communication with him via both text and email is reliable. And somehow the kitchen is consistently cleaner after he leaves than before he arrives. I highly recommend working with Matt to meet you and your family's food situation.

Matt does the planning, the prep work, comes to your house and prepares meals in your kitchen. Seriously! The food is delicious and nutritious and it just makes the whole week a lot easier. Matt will leave your kitchen cleaner than when he arrived, and it's surprisingly affordable. Highly recommend!

Matt is exceptional. Not only is his food nutritious, interesting and filling, but he takes the time to hear what you like and what you need. I had an incredibly busy schedule as a single mom and with basically 3 full time jobs. I had no energy to feed myself, and was barely feeding my child appropriately. I found Matt's info and after 1 week of his meals, my energy levels were back up, I had time to eat better outside of what he made for me, and it just made life better. I reccomend his service to everyone I know!!!

Matt truly understands excellent customer service. He is so awesome to work with, and has helped me to maintain a healthy and regular eating schedule for a hectic lifestyle. He is always flexible and works with me to make sure I get my portions each week, no matter where our own busy schedules have taken us. Whenever we are too busy to cook meals, Matt is our go-to! Matt caters to our gluten-free, vegan diet with food that is totally delicious and satisfying. At first I wasn't sure how it would work to warm up pre-cooked food throughout the week, but Matt had us covered and somehow our meals are perfectly cooked after we reheat them! When Matt leaves, our fridge is stocked for the week and our kitchen is always cleaner than it was when he arrived!

Wow! Was I so happy to run across Matt just from an internet search and he was so amazing. I’m in Seattle and he’s there and worked with me remotely to provide a gift for friends of mine there who just had their first baby. The food, yum! The menu, personalized! The communication, awesome! The price, just right. The overall experience, fantastic! Thank you so much for working with me and giving such a great gift to this family I love.

I’m so grateful I found the Restorative Chef! I have complicated dietary needs related to autoimmune and chronic inflammation problems. Luckily, Matt was able to work with all my dietary restrictions! He makes delicious, affordable meals every week that I can rely on - keto, paleo, low FODMAP, he does it all! Always delicious, nutritious, wholesome food, excellent service, exceptional experience with this business, highly recommended.

His meals include high quality, nutritious ingredients that are delicious. My husband and I were both very impressed with how good the food was and reasonably priced. It's super convenient to have dishes prepared for you to grab & go during the work day that are good for you. I'm a foodie and I recommend him.
