Sabrina is very professional waitress, guiding us through the delicious menu one dish at a time. She always makes this a memorable gastronomic experience. The stuffed pork chops were delicious. The steak salad is always a go too as well. Republic never disappoints. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I could not have had a better experience for my first time at TRG. It was my birthday and Courtney and all the staff made our dining experience perfect. The food, drinks, and quality of service was out of this world and I could not have asked for more. They even all signed me a birthday card! The onions rings and Mac n cheese are to die for. This is one of The Woodland's best. It's just a lot of American southern/Cajun/lunch faire but it was all well executed and at an excellent price to boot. The chicken fried steak and bacon jalapeno Mac n cheese was great. For desert they had a made in house cheese cake which really impressed me. Service is TOP NOTCH. First time eating at here and the good and service were the best. Had the Mac & cheese bites and also the spinach & artichoke dip, so delicious. I ordered the blackened flounder, it was topped with crawfish & shrimp, with jalapeño corn and asparagus, the flavor was outstanding. For dessert I tried the Tres Leche and it was the best!!! We had salads and they were all delicious. Nice selection of dressings. We definitely cleaned our plates. Our son had the lasagna, he also enjoyed it. Great experience overall. Even though restaurants looked packed we got a table in a few minutes. Food came pretty quick as well give how busy it was. Mac and Cheese bites was my favourite!! Cocktails tasted great and burger was above average but Chicken steak meat had chewy texture to it. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes. A must try! A great variety of food to choose from. We enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious. Gumbo soup is wonderful. My Name Is Not Important

I was told to come try the gumbo here. It was good. It was a large bowl. It had a rich dark roux with a good flavor. To be honest, I took it home and ate the rest a few days later. I think it tasted even better the second time. It's like it had to to bind and gel together. I highly recommend the gumbo here. It's good. We picked this restaurant on a whim and wow i am so glad we did. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the service was amazing! The trg salad and top chop was the best food wed ever had. We got a raspberry martini and a strawberry lemon drop and courtney k made them so delicious and was so nice, talkative at the bar and informational! She really made our night amazing. Republic Grill - Not as Good as it used to be It had been a while since our last visit to Republic Grill, so the two of us opted to try them again for a nice lunch. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the fish and chips lunch. It came with three heavily breaded strips of fish. While the outside of the breading was fully-cooked and crispy, the breading was so thick that the inside portion was still very doughy and un-cooked. I also ordered their “famous” onion rings, only to have french fries delivered instead. I mentioned this to the waiter and she came back a few minutes later with an order of onion rings. However, the rings were luke-warm, at best, and lacking any flavor. Overall, I had expected more from this place based on my previous experiences and left a bit disappointed in this visit.
