I have been on the hunt for good sausage gravy. Everytime I've left a restaurant I've been dissatisfied. The same bland stuff from a packet all over the place. This is one of the few places I've found that takes the time to make it from scratch and its been around the corner from me for years. My experience was awful at this restaurant. Couple of weeks ago I ordered the fish and chips and they brought only 7 pieces of French fries on the plate. I did not say anything at that time. I have decided to come back this last weekend and when server come to my table I ordered the same meal and I asked her if I can get more than 7 French fries with my meal. I explained to her that I was not happy with 7 French fries on my plate from few weeks ago. I asked her if she could find out how many pieces of French fries I will get this time. She did not know the answer and I asked here to do a little research. Few minutes latter she came back and said 5 oz of French fries. I asked her if she could translate it to a physical pieces and then she got unhappy and told me “I am not going to serve you her”. This was a bad experience I hope they learn the lesson from this.
