À propos
The Priest Hole Restaurant in Ambleside is a charming and unique eatery with plenty of character. The building itself is an old one, with wonky floors and lopsided windows and doors - a reminder of its history as a former Priest Hole. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious with plenty of choice. From the homemade pies to the steak night on Thursday, there's something for everyone. The drinks menu is also impressive, offering local beers and gins. Gluten free options are available, and the dessert menu features a decadent Knickerbocker Glory. Covid safety measures are in place and the restaurant has done an excellent job of keeping everyone safe. All in all, The Priest Hole Restaurant is a great spot for a hearty pub meal after a long day of walking or exploring the Lake District. Highly recommended!
