Very unexpected find - great food with fair prices and easy-going atmosphere. Happy hour menu is definitely worth checking out. Just driving through Ellensburg and stopped for lunch. I ordered the Roasted Beet Salad; my partner ordered the veggie Burger. The beet salad was one of the best I’ve ever had and beautiful. The burger looked a bit lonely on the plate plus it was difficult to eat. It was on a ciabatta roll with many layers of tomatoes, onions, pickles, etc. Not recommended. Little on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Wife and I came in on a date night, I ordered the Tenderloin ordered med rare, thought it was one of if not the most tender cut of steak i’ve ever had. Vegetables brought great balance to the meal, made it hard to put down that fork. Potatoes were cooked perfectly and completed that dish. Only complaints were the Brussel sprouts, were a little confusing to put in a dish, but it’s very minimal criticism. Wife ordered the B.L.A.T and she thought that was one of the best sandwiches she has ever tried. Spinach and Artichoke dip was sooo good as well. Compliments to the chef and the waitress who provided excellent service the entire time. Environment was very christmasy and had a very beautiful tree up where everyone could see. The Pearl is an Eburg experience, midtown, with easy parking. The food is modern cuisine, done very well--altho they run out of favorite items regularly. The service is amazing. The mixed drinks are meh--so strong on the citrus that one can't really taste other ingredients. Good wines, good microbrews. The rustic ambience is fun, especially if one knows the history of the town. Watch out--some of the old-fashioned seating is not comfortable.
