The food here is always excellent, as well as the service. A local hangout where you'll often run into city council members, small business owners and your neighbors. The turkey pesto panini is particularly tasty. It's great to sit at the bar and watch them skillfully toss pizza dough and prepare your dinner. They even occasionally have live music. First time here, and we had a 15 min wait. The restaurant was clean and smelled like fresh breads. We ordered the meat pizza, a chicken and walnut salad, kids butter noodles, and kids cheese pizza. Everything tasted home made. The meat even tasted like it was made in house. Our kids ate everything and wouldn't mind coming back. After our meal, we took the kids out to see The Mill (haunted?). It's my favorite place for chicken ceasar salad. The garlic and sundried tomatoes in the dressing give it a nice kick. When the weather is good, dining outside in the patio is really nice, and if you're lucky, they sometimes have live music performers. Really? We showed up and 2 individuals were standing up front ignoring those groups waiting to be seated. I had to ask if they were taking names. The place was not crowded. I understand they had limited wait staff but the hostesses couldn't be bothered to even acknowledge our existence. It took someone from management to finally acknowledge our party and get us seated. The waitress was very friendly once we were seated. Management needs to do a better job of training the staff greeting customers. They are the first impression for those coming into the establishment. I do want to emphasize that the actual waitress was very attentive and friendly. Meal type Dinner Service: 1
