The food was not fresh except the lettuce. You can tell it's reheated food from yesterday. The rice didn't have that fresh, hot, steamyness to it. The gyro was definitely not fresh cut from the pit. I wasted a good 20min driving here. The chicken is flavorless just like their rice. The white sauce makes it good but the quality of this place is in the toilet. I think some of the locations are really struggling so they are using old food instead of making it fresh. I will never come back here. Compared to Pita Inn's flavor this place should get negative stars. Absolutely wasted $15 on this place for the platter. Half the platter was lettuce. Edit September 2022. I drive 30 minutes and pass so many restaurants to be at my happy place! Always great food even better service!!! The staff is super friendly all the time! March 2024. Halal guys has the most consistent great service I've received from ANY establishment I've been a long time customer of! If this location is indicative of the entire chain, I'm not impressed. Gyro meat was already in a warming pan, not shaved directly from the cone. Your neighborhood Mom & Pop gyro place is probably better. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
