Me & my girlfriend family went to dine for their annual birthday dinner. Far as the food goes it could use a bit more flavor other than that the building was unique.
It was very interesting, and cozy felt like I was eating at the dinner table at home. Also our waiter was more than personable and very polite. The environment was my favorite part of the dinner.

Camping for the weekend in the area ( from Ponchatoula) and ate here for lunch 3/2/24. I have to say, we’re still talking about this place. We can’t remember the last time we were so impressed with a restaurant. The service & the food!! The atmosphere was great- indoors & outdoor patio with the huge shady oak tree... The service was spectacular. We were greeted very warmly by the hostess, and served by Macy. She was so nice, answered all questions, and never had us waiting long. She even got busy with large tables & never missed a beat with us. Food came quick too…& was GREAT! The jacked up hamburger steak (didn’t know this was needed but is a must), spinach & shrimp dip, crab cakes (some of the best I’ve had) and white chocolate bread pudding for dessert, DELICIOUS !!🤌🏼🤌🏼I recommend them ALL. Also, we had various servers/bus boys periodically clear our table, ask if we needed a bag on the way out, told us bye & thanks. Multiple employees…5star service. We’re eating there again on our way out tomorrow.

We thought this restaurant was pretty dang delicious! Like, wow! Great menu items, great Cajun style food and great execution. Amazing atmosphere and our service was great as well. If you are in the area don’t forget to stop by and grab yourself some of their amazing gumbo. We did try both gumbos, seafood or chicken & sausage, we think the seafood was better and had more depth of flavor. Even the color was darker. It was also our first time trying the boudin, and I’m so happy we tried it here first!

I stopped in for lunch because I was passing through for work. I've heard tons of people rave over it, so I was excited to try it. I got the hot club sandwich, and it was good but very bready. I also got the crab cakes, and they were excellent! I sat at the bar, and the service was great. The bartender was helpful, polite, and attentive. 3 stars for atmosphere, but i understand it was lunch on a weekday, and i didn't expect much. I would like to revisit with a crowd of people on the weekend and I'm sure it would be much more lively. Overall, it's a great place to pop in for a quick, tasty lunch on the road.

I may run out of positive adjectives for this place! The duck confit eggrolls were transcendent. The richness of the flavor of the duck mixed with the sauce was exquisite. The boudin balls had a perfect breading with terrific texture and spectacular flavor. The fried crab claws, while a bit small, were also flavorful and the sauce made them excellent. The shrimp crawfish and andouille pasta is one of the top 5 meals I've had on our tour of the South. Each forkful was better than the last. The blackened chicken pasta was absolutely lovely with a terrific sauce thickness and all around great flavor. A perfect meal and experience!!
