After watching The Hershey Story, have a meal at Chocolate Avenue Grill. Perfectly cooked goat cheese salads, ribeye and scallops are the best dishes. First time here. Food and drinks were delicious. I recommend the espresso martini :) Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We did make reservations for a Friday lunch which was helpful. Parking can be a little tight during peak hours. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5

Food was a 2. We ordered steaks and there was only the flavor of the flame grill on the meat. We ordered 2 medium well steaks and 1 of them was well done & the other was luke warm when we received it. The waiter was decent and assisted with our drinks. 1st review Aug 2023 Outstanding meal!! The brussel sprouts were fabulous. Ribeye steak with the southwest risotto was done to perfection. Great collection of wines. Well done!! Update Feb 6, 2024 2nd visit. Wow !!! Had the Salmon with risotto and it was mind blowing. Best food in Hershey !! The baklava cheesecake is unique and gooey delicious !! We have been here twice and have had amazing experiences both times! It was busy and we waited about 35 minutes to get a seat, but the service and quality of food was still spectacular considering how crazy busy they were!! There are a lot of unique food items and a few items that are inspired by chocolate (I got the short ribs tacos, which were infused with chocolate, and they were delicious). But everything we got here was very good and it came out so quickly!, considering they were so busy! And the service was friendly and efficient. Couldn't have had a better waiter experience! And don't leave without getting the peanut butter pie! - it's so delicious and smooth, and totally worth it. My husband isn't a big fan of peanut butter dishes, but he loved it as well. We came down for an overnight trip and decided to try this place out as it is only a few minutes from our hotel. As an appetizer we ordered the Garlic Parm fries, they were pretty good but lacked a lot of cheese I thought. I got the fish and chips, and it was pretty good, I feel the fish didn't have a whole lot of flavor, but I enjoyed it with the tartar sauce and Old Bay fries. My partner got the grilled salmon and ordered mashed potatoes. The salmon was really good, and the Risotto was a nice touch, and his mashed potatoes were awesome! We had 2 drinks, and they forgot our water, which was okay, but we kept getting skipped and didn't get checked on. They went to every table but ours. We got lava cake for dessert, but unfortunately, it didn't have any sauce in the middle, which is what makes lava cake lava cake where I'm from. The ambiance is great. Casual but very nice. Nice outdoor eating area as well. Our waitress was very nice as well. We had high expectations for the food based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great. Just ok. The mojito that I ordered wasn't great either. With all of the choices in that area, we probably wouldn't go back. Ate here while in the area for a conference. Service was quick and the servers had good advice for picky eaters (me)!! I ordered their southwest chicken wrap and was not disappointed. I also tried one of their mocktails and it was incredibly refreshing despite being pretty sweet. Our table also shared the hot honey goat cheese and bruschetta appetizers. Both were very tasty. Portion sizes were generous and everything came out hot and fresh! We were seated at a table near the bar. Area was loud but not so bad that it was difficult to carry a conversation. There's also a nice patio out front that has heated seating. We ate inside but it I went back I would take advantage of that space. We sat at the bar, which has a nice view of the main road through the large windows that surround that part of the restaurant. They have a nice spin on an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan that's worth a try. We tried the south west wrap and the chicken tacos. Both we very good, but I preferred the wrap. Was meeting cousins here for dinner as we were all going to the RV show in Hershey the next day. Read through reviews and settled for this spot. I am glad we did. The place was clean, the service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. We also were able to spend some time talking and catching up and we did not get rushed out after our meal was over. A couple of us had a portobello salad and another had the burger and fries. Everyone was quite satisfied with the meal. And they had a great selection of drinks and desserts (though we passed). The menu was pretty extensive and the prices were reasonable. Great choice for a casual meal! A must go! One of the best meals in Central PA! Must make reservations especially during weekends! Service was great and I appreciated that staff allowed me to charge my phone! The pics speak for themselves! The corn chowder and roasted peppers soups are out of this world but so are the main courses! The shrimp and the chicken as well as the seafood! This was a Saturday night dinner and we were still able to find parking on a side street! A black kitty added to the fun of the evening when she jumped into our car and refused to leave!
