Every time I go the food is consistently fresh & delicious!! Cute little country atmosphere Also love the corn bread served with dinner it makes it kind of special in a way. Everything from seafood to steaks and dessert is excellent !! Love that nothing there is frozen or microwaved it tastes homemade! Keep up the good work everyone it’s definitely appreciated !! Best gluten free fried seafood in the entire world. I have Celiac Disease. The owner/chef cares about his food and service which is always A+. The non gluten free is stellar too. Call ahead for a reservation. There is usually a wait because the food is so amazing. The place isn't too big so every table will be full. In the summer they add some outdoor tables which helps. Server was very attentive and pleasant. Fried scallops were a bit undercooked. Otherwise our order was great. We did not have to wait to be seated as we usually do. Went here this past weekend with my son and as always, had a great meal. I ordered something off of the gluten free menu and the waitress noticed it wasn’t gluten free when it was made so it never even hit the table. She quickly made sure it was corrected and I am so thankful for that! For someone with dietary restrictions, The Cabin makes sure from the beginning that you know they keep that in mind. It’s become a safe place to eat for many of us with Celiac or gluten intolerance. Most importantly, they take precautions without sacrificing the taste or consistency of the food. (If you are gluten free, you get it!) Everyone is so sweet, it’s such a homey atmosphere and I will always be a customer as long as they are open! My son always has a blast here unlike any other restaurant and my only complaint is that we don’t live closer. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a wonderful treat. The fish was so fresh and extremely tasty, cooked to perfection l! We ordered the fisherman’s feast and bbq ribs. The quahog was amazing and the the fried fish “breading” had a gluten free option and I would never have known the difference if someone didn’t tell me. I’ve recently had to switch to a gluten and dairy free diet due to health issues and wow. It’s ridiculous how difficult it is to eliminate two major food groups from your diet, especially as a full time working mother. I found out The Cabin has one of the most extensive gluten and dairy free menus in the state and came by to check it out. We’ve now been here two weeks in a row and have been beyond impressed with not only the food but also the outdoor atmosphere and the wait staff! This is coming from someone who LOVES bread/pasta/dairy etc.. it honestly makes me feel “normal” again! I have not felt judged or awkward once asking for accommodations. I am shocked this exists in the south shore but so grateful it does. My husband eats all the gluten and dairy and also loves The Cabin. We had some amazing drinks too. Great dining experience. Thanks to John for accommodating us as we were not aware that we needed reservations. We had the seafood feast for two, and it easily could have been for four! Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu and drinks very well. If we return to the area, and we likely will, we will definitely go here again (with reservations). They have a menu with everything that tastes good across the board but nothing amazing enough to write home about if that makes sense. Smell hits you walking in delicious fried seafood and it was delicious but not seasoned. Good portions fair pricing. Just didn’t wow me sadly.
