I was very excited to eat at The Buck! They advertised New York Style pizza. The dining room was terribly smokey from something that burned in the kitchen. The staff was really nice and helpful. We ordered a Rancher's Feast with banaba peppers, black olives, and green peppers. The pizza came to the table with green olives instead of green peppers. That was a little strange. We ate it and didn't say anything. The pizza was good, just not what I expected. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

I only docked one star because their pizza is delicious when it is done right and I also know the owner is a nice guy with a lot of experience and it is hard to find good help. So if I could leave a separate review for owners and workers I have to be honest the worker review would have been 1 star today. They brought out a pizza where the crust was almost completely raw dough under the surface to the point it looked the same as the melted cheese so we took it back and the waitress just asked if we wanted it put back in. That's it. I would not be asking, I'd be offering to make a new one or at minimum put it back in which we would be more than happy with if it was offered without attitude. Then it was brought out a few minutes later and we were told with another good dose of attitude by another girl who worked in the kitchen that they "put it back in for like 2 minutes" like we could know if that's good enough. I'll give ya this, it seems like this is far from the only pizza place in town that has a tough time getting the cooks to cook rhe pizza long enough. We then told her we font know we just want it to be done and she said in a rude way to just let her know if I needs more time or something. Mistakes happen. That's completely okay. But to the workers: just own up to them and fix it with a good attitude so your customer doesn't pay almost $30 for a pizza that's uncooked and that they now have to worry might have been tampered with by the bitter employee who is so annoyed that we are askingfor a fully cooked pizza. That's all. Still fantastic pizza when it's done. I feel for the situation because it's hard to get employees to care like an owner does about the execution and customer service so hopefully this review at least just sheds some light on the need for some new employees or a pep talk. My complaint is they won’t take phone orders and they take so long just to make a basic grinder sandwich. It’s somewhat disappointing since the new owners bought it a few years ago. The old place provided better quality food and service. so we never buy there even though it’s next to our house. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place was fun. Great crowd of people. Nice bar. Great location The pizza was not bad but I'm from the east coast originally so I have a high standard for pizza but it was good. Our kids liked it. Drinks were strong and as I said good people in there. If you're in the area and you need some pizza, I think it's a good place to go Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered 2 large pizzas two weeks ago and they were burnt and super thin and looked like cardboard and felt like it too? I thought they were having an off day, so today I ordered it again and omg how annoying that it was burnt on the bottom again, no sauce and cheese was overcooked! Unfortunately I will not be ordering again, their loss we order pizza a lot but never from there again, what a waste of money! Hopefully the feedback will help them correct their temperature or timing or care about the quality of their food! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

After flying into the airport in Bozeman, I needed a place to hang out for a couple hours while I waited on my ride to Butte. Decided to check out The Buck and it was absolutely perfect! I believe the bartenders name was Susie; she was super nice and even let me try a sample of local huckleberry vodka which was amazing! Ordered a sub which was loaded and extremely delicious! Even made friends with a couple locals at the bar and overall had a great time! Highly recommended! Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The "regular crust " was thinner than thin crust. The vegetarian pizza had very little mozzarella. And the sauce has little flavor. I will not return Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

If you're not in a hurry, this place still isn't worth checking out. I got a HOT grinder to go. It took nearly 45 minutes. And you can see by my photos, the place was empty and everyone there already had their food. My favorite part, I got sick from their food. I'm glad I hadn't taken my family there and it was just me. Very easy to trace my steps to here. Don't do it, it's not worth the bacterial poisoning. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I ordered pizza for pickup for my daughter's birthday because this used to be our family's favorite place. When I got home the pizza was like burnt cardboard! Frozen cheap grocery store pizza would have been better at a fraction of the cost. I ordered 2 18" pizzas (cheese & pepperoni) plus bread sticks. I paid before I saw the food so I left a good tip also. These pizzas were almost $30 each plus $10 bread sticks. Complete waste of almost $70 +tip! I realize I should have looked at the pizza before leaving because the last few times we've eaten in the restaurant half our order was burnt. Those times I thought maybe it's because they were so busy. They were not busy when I went in there today so I assumed it would be good. I guess that's my bad for giving them the benefit of the doubt. Never going back. Meal type Lunch Food: 1
Loved this pizza and beer joint! We have never been and we were welcomed with open arms. I ordered the veggie calzone with a huckleberry mule (TO DIE FOR!) and my boyfriend ordered a creamy ale with a chicken bacon pizza. He loved his as well. Friendly wait staff, the bartender let us try our drinks before we ordered to make sure we liked them, and the overall atmosphere was great. Plenty of seating, tvs to watch the game, and lots of menu variety. Would love to come back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
