I absolutely LOVE The Brim! The owners and staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This is my favorite coffee shop to go to with my friends and I've never tried a drink from here that I haven't enjoyed. I also love that they write little encouraging notes on the cup when you order an iced drink. I would highly recommend giving The Brim a try if you haven't already!

If coffee shops were paintings The Brim would be the Mona Lisa. The excellent texture of the coffee. The breathtaking interior. The staff are kind. If you need a pick-me-u from a rough day then go to The Brim. If you are already having a good day then celebrate by going to The Brim. Actually just whenever go to The Brim.

The biscuits and gravy are the bomb-dot-com! They said it was a trial run, but goodness gracious those were fire 🔥 Super friendly crew, they don't miss. The owners are so kind. If you need coffee in Albany go here and be cool 😎
Edit: Updating to 5 stars as they are aware of the issue & actively trying to fix it! The owner was incredibly kind & replaced my spilled drinks due to the lid issue. Fantastic customer service on top of everything else that's great here.
The food and coffee here are amazing, and the space is so cute, but please PLEASE get iced coffee lids that fit the cups better! The seal is so loose, coffee spills out of the cup extremely easily from any slight movement, and sometimes the lids just pop off when I'm trying to hold my drink.
Otherwise 5 stars for everything else! Everyone is super nice! The cold drink cups just make a ton of mess fyi!

I got a surprise blended drink and it was so tasty! I’m a big coffee connoisseur and know good coffee when I taste it and this is definitely high on my list of one of the best tasting coffees I’ve had! Ended up splurging on a Reese’s scone while I was there and it was definitely well worth it! It didn’t have a strong Reese’s flavor since it had Reese’s pieces inside, but the moisture in it was seriously stellar! It was not dry at all which many scones can be and this was definitely the best scone I’ve had. I would highly recommend splurging on them too, you won’t be disappointed! If you’re in the area make sure to make a stop by this shop! It is well worth it!

Hands down our favorite coffee, not just in Albany, but anywhere! We’ve tried and drank a LOT of coffee. When we travel we enjoy others, but always look forward to coming home to the Brim! Also the service is outstanding! They are so friendly and kind, but take great pride in what they serve. Scones are delicious as well as the breakfast sandwiches! They would want to genuinely know if something was wrong so they could make it correct! Great coffee spot for anytime of the day!

The Brim Coffee Co., certainly checks all the boxes and is my “go to” place in Albany - no long lines or some miserable person standing at your car window to quickly take your order and then herd you along to the next station to take your money even faster.
Their wide selection of coffee drinks and smoothies is simply unbeatable, and the quality of their food is top-notch. The paninis, in particular, are a must-try - they are bursting with flavor and so good they leave wanting another one.
What really sets The Brim apart, though, is the amazing atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind, with cozy seating and a warm, welcoming vibe.
What other coffee places fail to understand is that coffee should never be just a beverage, instead it should be an experience - and that’s what you get at The Brim - an experience!

A must try, you’ll become a regular!
The Brim is my favorite coffee shop in Albany! The staff are always so cheerful and kind! The food is amazing — chai scones are my favorite!
They’ve done a great job making it a perfect place to meet friends for coffee, a space to work, or decompress! I’m so happy to have a North Albany Brim in addition to their downtown location! The drive-thru is great for when I’m on the go and still want a drink and snack for the road!

Love this place! The atmosphere, decor, and aesthetics are exactly what I want in a coffee shop! I can sit and work or catch up with a friend. The owners are some of the best people I’ve ever known and they only hire kind, friendly, helpful staff which means you will ALWAYS get great service. And if you go in more than a couple times, chances are you’ll be known by name. Love The Brim!
