Food tasted good, but our soup was not hot, granted we didn't have to worry about burning our tongue. It might help if the soup bowls were warmed before putting the soup in it. Pecan pie was warmer than the soup. Service was okay but we had to ask for everything. We will go back to see if this is the norm or not. This place is homecooking delicious comfort food, with an awesome atmosphere and quality service. Just like goin to Grandmaws house!! Awesome job Blue Plate!! I always enjoy the spread and love dinning here with my family. I can not praise it and the staff enough.
