Went out to meet our daughter for a birthday lunch. The young man at the window was so nice, and he knew our daughter, because she goes there quite often. It was a Friday afternoon during Lent they added a fish sandwich combo to the menu so that was amazing. When the food got to us. It was all so fresh and taste delicious. The atmosphere is great. Amazing place to take your family. Enjoy deliicious foods and desserts. It's BYOB for alcohol. They have a nice new playground area and they have a lot of peace and large covered seating area with a stage. Live music occasionally too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been seeing this restaurant on FB for a while and just keep forgetting about it when we come out here. Today we stopped by and glad we did; it was so good. Son has a fried pickle burger and he loved it with French fries. We shared a mushrooms Swiss burger with onion rings and it had so much flavor and the onion rings were cooked to perfection. So crisp and fresh. We also shared a L order of chili cheese fries and they were super delicious. I have been wanting chili cheese fries and these hit the spot. We love this place! We drive from south of San Antonio only a 20 minute drive. The service has always been amazing as well as the food! Been coming for 3 years and this place never gets old. They have added so much to it it all just started with just dirt and tables and great smiling faces now they have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a covered space and now a little play ground for the little ones. The backyard kitchen is just down the road from us. We decided to try it for our second time tonight, first was right after they opened. We got the Backyard burger and Chicken Parm fries. It was amazing! The chicken parm fries had cheese all the way through so no fries went without cheese! Such a good place to grab a bite! Backyard Kitchen has great atmosphere and delicious food. You can definitely taste the quality especially in the meat, You can tell it was made to order. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. The staff and owners are amazing and so sweet. Always giving back to the community. My family and I will definitely be coming back. 10/10 gotta try it for yourself. Chicken pickle fries are my favorite but the mushroom Swiss with bacon omgeeeeeeee so good!
