Some of the best Thai food outside of Thailand. Amazing papaya salad! Food was delicious, server very attentive and lovely homey vibe inside the restaurant. Will definitely make this place a “must stop” on future trips to the Big Island! Before leaving Arizona we researched Thai food and drove from Kona there in the rain. The pad thai and green curry tofu were excellent. The food was the best we've had in years. Flavors, scent and generous portions were out of this world. Service was superb and cleanliness the best. Wish we could find such deliciousness nearby. I got Thai Thai Red Curry, which is closest to Panang. I ordered it Thai hot, which meant getting chopped fresh Thai chilis to put in Curry, and it was perfect. Nothing is better than fresh chilis. I got a "Hawaiian" beer brewed in Bend, Oregon. No brown rice available, darn. 😒 Service was good. Place is nice and huge. Cost me $44 for Curry, beer, tax and tip. I would return. Good, yummy Thai - especially when you consider the location, half way up a mountain in a little village - but waaaay overpriced, even with the good service we got. Remember to ask for actual spiciness if you like your Thai authentic. Highlights: One of three restaurants in Volcano, and it's PHENOMENAL. Get the MANGO STICKY RICE. Food: Easily some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The curry was especially good. Ambiance: Large dining space with big windows, lots of Thai decor, with a...lodge ski cabin vibe. Experience: Our waiter was the nicest guys. Very friendly to a bunch of tourists, and gave great recommendations (mango margarita). Service Dine in
