Always a good time at Texas road house. You can count on the food being delicious and served timely. Servers are always fun. And the atmosphere is music to my ears, a busy crowd laden smattering of sound and roots music. Wait times can be long on a Saturday night , so pro tip is.. check in online before you get there. Nice lunch. I was initially nervous about food allergies(celiac and seafood), but the server got me a specific menu and I haven’t had a reaction. Steak kabob was delicious and filet mignon was cooked nicely, but had some fat. 🧐 Server was friendly, but food took awhile to come out. Took awhile to ask for a straw and another drink. Understandable it was busy, but still, we didn’t have an hour and a half to sit to eat. Ordered to go at about 8 o’clock went to pick it up at 9 and was told they were waiting for my steak to finish the parking lot is big but to get into it your driving through the Grand Canyon with a low car. The steaks were both medium and hard to cut through instead of medium well the chili was watery and I never got the crackers for it the buffalo bites tasted like playdoh the jalapeño poppers were still doughy. We came out for a late lunch in rain/hail weather, we decided on Texas Roadhouse and we were not disappointed!! We were skeptical at first when we were seated in a tiny booth with minimal room, we got greeted by a super awesome waitress Amy she told us about fresh sides and coconut margaritas (which I didn’t even know were a thing!) too bad it wasn’t better drinking weather LOL. She was wearing pajamas at first it was funky until she said “you’ve been here before, awesome so you know this isn’t our normal attire we just like to have fun sometimes everyone loves to be comfy in cold weather” I loved that courage. It was admirable. We wanted shrimp for an appetizer and got told about a deal with an extra shrimp. Food took a little longer than expected but the bread was flowing and so were our drinks. We got to talking about more than just food which is why I’m here with this review she may have “wanted” recognition or maybe more business for herself, either we’re sold and will be back looking for her and the shrimp! My server was Destiny! One of my favorites. I ordered mozzarella twisty sticks (they make their own marinara sauce), a kid’s grilled chicken with fries and apple sauce, and I ordered an 11oz sirloin (cooked medium) with 2 sides of rice… this is one of the best meals I have had from here in the longest time! The steak was perfect! I placed my order, waited about 7 minutes (the entire restaurant was packed they were on a 1 hour 45 minute wait) and the mozzarella sticks were there and then about another 16 minutes and our dinner was on the table! I loved the service, I loved the food, and my toddler loved his dinner (which he is in a weird stage with food). He ate his food and then some of mine, too. Even though the parking lot seemed full we were greeted and seated immediately. The dining area is huge. Portions are large. The warm buns and cinnamon butter is a classic Texas Roadhouse staple and delicious. The Fried Pickles are very good and a great shareable appetizer. We ordered a Ribeye and NY Strip Steak dinner, both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Prices are reasonable too. They ran out of the food we wanted to order to start, then they brought out a slimy salad. Next , we got broccoli that looked like it should have been thrown out days prior. Broccoli is supposed to be green and when it starts to turn yellow it's old.When I told them about it they let it sit on the table the whole time we were there, they didn't even remove it from in front of me. When someone isn't happy with their food, you shouldn't leave it on the table for them to keep looking at. To their credit they took a little off of our bill but honestly that was just for the food we couldn't eat. 1st and last time going there. I took a star off because my steak was blue, rather than rare. Mind you, to ME, that's ok. But when thinking about others asking for a specific cook temp, they definitely should get what they ask for. The service was amazing from both the training server & the trainee. The atmosphere is always great at the roadhouse. The food, overall, was delicious. I NEVER regret stopping by! Had an amazing experience at this Texas Roadhouse. We had driven for 6 hrs video game Hunting. And my wife and grandson where super hungry. So thought we'd stop by this location. When we got there the parking lot was full and there was a huge line. So we went in and put our names down . They told us it would be a 30 minute wait . But we didn't believe it since they where so busy. 15 minutes later we were sitting down ordering our food. The waiter was super nice and very helpful. We ordered appetizers thinking it would take time for our dinner to come out and surprisingly it came out 5 minutes after our appetizers. Which was great. The food was amazing .. Well cooked and very filling. I'd highly recommend coming to this Texas Roadhouse. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
