This was our 2nd visit. Chips were warm and excellent. It seemed like meals were assembly lined with the same sauce on stuff and rushed. Waiter repratedly messed up our order but corrected it promptly. Food was fair to good. The food is wonderful however the service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. My husband and I went in there today for Valentine’s Day before going home to have a couple of drinks and when we asked for our check we realized they charged us $4.50 for the chips and salsa they brought to the table when they sat us as they do in every other Mexican restaurant I have ever visited in my entire life. So for two margaritas and one thing of chips and salsa that ( I did NOT ask for ) we were charged over $18.00. When I asked to speak to the manager to try to get some kind of resolution, they were very ignorant with me and unaccommodating, and I will never go back to the restaurant again. 4/5 stars. Overall a delightful experience. Warm and welcoming staff. Chips and salsa are soo good. Price pint is good for the amount of food given. The difference was about 3 bucks more than the local McDonald’s, so it’s a no brainer. We dined in of course and enjoyed all the conversation with friends and family. We will be back! Been here about 6 times or more now and always had good food and service. Super spicy food available. Personally got the mushroom quesadilla twice now and never thought I'd want one but now I want a third. We were tired and looking for a place close to where we were staying and chose to check this place out. I had the California Burrito and my husband the Special De La Casa. We started off with some chips and salsa. The salsa was not very thick and no spice but, it was still good. Our dinner came out pretty fast. I am not a huge Mexican fan but my Burrito was really good and I ended up eating all of it. My husband also enjoyed his food and we both ate our entire meal. This place stayed pretty busy the entire time we were there but, our service was great. Also, for the area, we were excited to get dinner for 2, for $26. This place is definitely worth stopping at! After a long day at Silver Dollar City we wanted fast favorites. This place delivered. Good familiar Mexican food with great service and strong margaritas. Really enjoyed our visit and put it on the list for a second visit next time we are back.

Wonderful! Their salsa is excellent t as well as their queso. I had the enchilada Verdasco, and the chicken was the best (vs the cheese or beef) . They do have a kids menu. Stop here if you want mexican.
