Wow! Tea Horse Bistro is the best Szechuan foods I have had. It can easily be compared to Lao Sze Chuan in Chicago or Peter Chang in Rockville. There is a saying “Do not judge the book by its cover”. I guess it is right. The restaurant looks like a small mom and pop shop on the outside but it is big and nicely decorated with P.F. Chang decoration. The service is friendly, professional, and seamless. The owner is very nice too. The Spicy Fried Chicken Bites is perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mala and spice mixture is aromatic, slightly spicy, but not too salty. Other dishes are impressive as well. The owner mentioned that the chef is from Chengdo. The portion is quite big for two, so we packed the foods home. It should last us a few more meals. There are three private rooms that fit about 17 -35 people. I like the table. It looks very crafty. Yes, it is quite rare for me to give five stars for a restaurant. I am just so glad to finally find it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

1st time eating there last night and it was a great choice! We had the steamed dumplings, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, chicken lo mein, sett n sour fish filet, and beef broccoli. Our favorite was the fish...yum! Our least favorite was the dumplings...needed more seasonings/vegetables within the meat. The overall place was new, modern but kept its cultural charm. We will be coming back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp Fried Rice

On busy nights you can tell who knows the owner because they are put ahead of you. I've seen this happen a lot and seen people that were waiting get PO'd. Go on a weekday to avoid this. The food is great, especially if you want real Chinese food and not American - Chinese style fast food takeout. If you u love spicy, this is absolutely the place for you. Me I don't like spicy but always wanted to try this type of cuisine, so I stepped out of my comfort zone. I must say I enjoyed it but not enough to try again just because I don't like spicy food. Well, they have a nice size menu. We had a cold rabbit dish that had nice flavor but had so many meatless bones that it was hard for me to enjoy. Shanghai spring roll came out hot. It wasn't the best I ever had but still season well, and I enjoyed it. Sichuan style cold noodles extremely good not to spicy. I would definitely recommend this dish 😋 👌. Chicken with Szeuchan pepper. Chicken was tender cooked well, but goodness, it was spicy. For some reason , I expected a sauce with the dish, but reading is fundamental it doesn't come with one. I would recommend this for anyone who can take extreme heat. Spicy grilled fish that fish was cooked perfectly. It had cumin in it, which I dont like, but they season it where u can taste the cuminbut not too much where it overpowers the dish. Last combination fried rice. Also I very much enjoyed it. Season well and not salty. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This place never misses. I originally frequented the one in Towson called Red Pepper. This one is no different and just as delicious. I ordered my usual with my partner, Mushrooms with bok choy, deep-fried pork intestines, Sichuan cold noodles, and Sichuan wontons in chili oil. The level of deliciousness, plating, service, and ambience is just as nice. They proudly kept the kitchen visible with a ceiling to mid wall window for customers to observe the works in the kitchen. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Szechuan Dumpling in Spicy SC

10/10+more. This is the real deal. The entire experience, the food puts the Au!!!! in Authentic! Reminded me of some of the amazing food I ate growing up in Hong Kong. The team was just great, accommodated us patiently, with all precautions, masks, gloves. The first thing you experience is the Great-Hall when you walk in. The decor and arrangement makes you feel like you're dining in a courtyard. Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered Orange Chicken at 8:30 pm. The dasher delivered the order at 9:20 as scheduled, however I received a bag with a completely different order with cold food and a receipt from 4:40 pm. I was refunded the purchase and called the restaurant to let them know another Dasher was on the way. The man on the phone blamed me for leaving too small of a tip. They would not remake the order and I received a cold General Tso Chicken (on the left) from a second dasher later. I will not recommend you order delivery from this place, their receipts are in Chinese, your name will not be on the receipt, and your dasher will confuse your order, only to be blamed for the bad service and cold food. Buyer Beware! Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
