Taquitos Mi Rancho in San Marcos is a hidden gem! From the excellent customer service to the amazing food, this taco stand is one of the best in town. The tacos are some of the best around and the white corn for the cup is hard to find. Their horchatas are especially delicious, with one reviewer saying it was the second best they had after Mexico City. The staff is friendly, going out of their way to bring orders to cars in 100 degree weather with a smile. The quality of the food is great, with an array of options from tacos to tortas to aquas frescas. The salsa is also said to be heavenly and the charro beans are cooked perfectly. Not to mention the pastor mini tacos that are said to be awesome. Prices are also reasonable, with tacos only being $2. There have been a few missteps such as a fly in the tacos and a $18.50 charge for six tacos, but overall this place is highly recommended.
