Good and bad. The good first: The food is fantastic. The meats are borderline gourmet, very unusual for a fast food type of restaurant. The Trompo and Barbacoa and other meats are some of the best I've ever had the pleasure to dine on.
The bad:
1. Biggest problem I see is the language barrier so have your phone ready to translate English to Spanish. Silly me didn't even think of this or these other problems might have been better understood or perhaps even averted. Even the Store manager spoke broken English so again, have the translator ready.
2. Forget about any substitutions like rice for refried beans or getting any other types of beans in lieu of the refried beans. The poor gentleman taking my order was completely confused by seemingly anything outside the menu.
3. Getting drinks is VERY confusing. The food service is located inside the Mobil Station and the store's drink dispensers are located right beside the order window. I wanted a drink that was dispensed in those but when I ordered, I was told they didn't have that particular drink. Confused, I tried to explain that the drink was about 10 feet away but then, the language barrier stepped in again. Huh? Posting a sign at the drink dispensers stating they aren't for the restaurant's customers and require a separate purchase might save some questions.
4. No option for drinking water unless you pay for water from the Mobil store. Call me old and decrepit but I HATE paying for water.
So there you have it. Will I eat there again? Absolutely. But next time, I'll probably opt for take out only, no drink. The food is way too good to condemn the store because of four arguably minor inconveniences. I hope they fix the above issues. The Taqueria Taxco is a diamond in the rough.

Le recomiendo este lugar.los tacos de trompo están super geniales. La orden sale rápida. Pero más me encanta los especiales del día. Un precio accesible para todos vale la pena comprar. El sitio es agradable el estacionamiento es extenso. Todo el lugar limpio. Es acto para todos.
El menú es extenso y puedes pedir lo que desees. Además venden un café de olla buenísimo y para acompañarlo le agrego un pan que también venden aquí muy rico pan.
Les recomiendo.
