This is one of the better, if not the best, taco place in the Fredericksburg area. Price is reasonable. Two of my favorite taco meat choices are Suadero (brisket) and buche (pork stomach). The brisket has always come out with enough moisture and right blend of fat to make it very taste, and tender. Honestly eating it with lime juice, guacamole and chopped onion brings out better the flavors of the meat than drowning in barbecue sauce. Pork stomach is another my favorite. Love the meat’s unique texture. Not many places offer that meat choice. I have in the past tried al pastor, chorizo, bistec a la parrilla. They were ok. The place is relatively small for eating in with long bar / picnic style table on each side. I have always been able to find a seat even on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Over hyped by the reviews. These were the worst street tacos I’ve ever had. I’m from Houston and these would never make the cut. I got al pastor and my friend got bistec, the meat was a weird mushy texture on both. The concept of the restaurant is cute but this is definitely not authentic. I’m giving 2 stars for the variety of salsas, they had good flavor..and..you will need them to drench your flavorless tacos in.
