Such great food with super friendly staff and a cute outdoor seating area, what more could you want? My boyfriend and I stumbled across this food truck and decided to check it out, definitely exceeded our expectations. Next time we’re in Charleston, we’ll definitely check out this place again! Found this taco truck on our way to Kiawah Island. It was Saturday evening so they were out of a lot of food by then, so I recommend going early on weekends. We tried quesadillas with carne asada, tacos al pastor, and burrito; they were good. Their agua de jamaica (hibiscus) is made from scratch and was very good. Great service! They have a clean shaded area to eat. They are pricier than the average taco truck, but I think it could be because of their location. What a fabulous find! This small business serves up amazing meals. The outdoor eating area was incredibly tidy and neat, we saw staff cleaning and prepping the area. It was filled with live plants and colourful flowers. The colourful and flavourful salsas that were on the table at were an added bonus. The menu offered a lot of choice. There was no difficulty finding tempting meals. Everything tasted very fresh and was prepared when ordered. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices were excellent and we would undoubtably, eat here again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We absolutely loved this place! I have been on the hunt for birria tacos in Charleston and they delivered! So cheesy and the consommé was perfectly spicy. I drained the whole thing after I finished dipping my tacos in it. You also can’t beat the prices

Tacos La Familia has the best tacos on the island. They have birria tacos that are to die for. Amazing dipping stew with hefty portions for a great price. Also, the spicy mango sorbet is amazing with a great combination of sweet and spicy that completes an amazing meal. If you do not come here you are missing out! 12/10 will come again! Highly highly recommend!! Not only were the Birria tacos absolute fire, but the service was very friendly as well. For a food truck I really appreciated they at least had some sort of restroom available, soap & water to wash your hands and a covered outdoor seating area. I had a Carnitas Sope & we got the 4 Birria Tacos to share. Perfect amount of food for a light lunch. Both the green & red salsas were great as well. Hands down one of the best taco places around!! My favorite (Al pastor) is the best I have ever had!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I just want to say thank you to all of you who make this place possible! This cute little truck truly makes up for all the bad food and service in this town! (for me at least). It is the best thing on the island as far as food goes. Food is AMAZING, great service, humble, hard working people etc. I appreciate yall so much! And thank you for evolving! It is so cool to see! I can tell you take the mistakes made and do something about it which is so rare. I've only experienced a couple of mistakes and yall fixed them right away. For example you collect names now for orders and you have the little pagers. I love the online ordering too. More Tamales! More cob Elote! lol. Anyway, thank you all and bless you!
