I WILL HONESTLY NEVER EVER FORGET THE EVENING I WENT INTO THIS RESTAURANT AND I TRIED TO ORDER THE CHEAPEST ITEM ON THE MENU BECAUSE I ONLY HAD LIKE $2.79 SO I ORDERED THE DOUBLE BEEFY CHEESY BURRITO WHICH AT THE TIME WAS $2.79 WITHOUT TAX ANYWAYS AND I HADN'T TAKEN THAT INTO CONSIDERATION SO I WAS ALL EXCITED THINKING THAT I HAD ENOUGH TO PURCHASE THIS BURRITO AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I WAS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HUNGRY ON THIS PARTICULAR EVENING AND ILL JUST END IT LIKE THIS I HAD HAD A VERRRRY ROUGH AND TREMENDOUSLY STRESSFUL DAY BEFORE MY VISIT AT TACO BELL TOOK PLACE. ANYWAYS LONG STORY SHORT IS THAT I ENDED UP BEING A LITTLE OVER A DOLLAR SHORT AND THE SWEET YOUNG WOMAN AT THE REGISTER SAID OH DO YOU HAVE ONE MORE DOLLAR BECAUSE THIS IS NOT QUITE ENOUGH AND I LOOKED AT THE CHANGE AND FELT SUPER EMBARRASSED AND EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SORRY THAT I'D EVEN WAISTED THE BOTH OF OUR TIME AND I HAD TOLD HER THAT I APOLOGIZED FOR DOING SO BUT I DIDN'T NEED IT ANY LONGER BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PURCHASE IT AND IT HAD DONE SOMETHING TO MY SOUL THAT DAY I LITERALLY COULD HARDLY HOLD BACK MY TEARS UNTIL I WALKED AWAY AND SHE WAS ABOUT TO HAND ME MY MONEY BACK AND THEN PULLED IT BACK AND SAID ONE MOMENT ILL BRB. TWO SECONDS LATER A VERY UNDERSTANDING GENTLEMAN|ANGEL WALKED UP TO THE COUNTER AND HANDED ME MY BURRITO AND SAID HERE YA GO MA'AM HAVE A NICE NIGHT..... MUST I SAY ANYMORE....THIS PLACE TRULY HONESTLY CHANGED MY LIFE CAUSE HAD THINGS GONE DIFFERENTLY THEIR THAT NIGHT I HONESTLY DON'T BELIEVE THAT I COULD'VE HANDLED IT AFTER THAT VERY TOUGH DAY SO BASICALLY I WAS SHOWN LOVE AND COMPASSION AND KNEW THAT SOMEONE CARED AND I WAS WORTH IT ALL WITHOUT SPEAKING ONE WORD AND SUPPORT AT A VERY NEEDED TIME IN MY LIFE AND IT WAS THEN THAT I KNEW MY LIFE WAS WORTH LIVING AGAIN AND IT BROUGHT MY MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER. Just a good Taco Bell experience, it wasn't brilliant, but the food was good enough, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The parking is plentiful, and it's well lit. There's a drive-thru here as well. It's Taco Bell, you know what you're getting if you come here. This is a pretty good one to come to though. It was weird this time. It was like a ghost town! No one comes up to greet customers or take orders anymore, they want everyone to use the self serve kiosks. Then when the order is ready, they toss it into the pickup shelves, yell the name, and disappear. Very impersonal. I tried calling out "Thank you," but got no response. There was one very courteous employee who refilled my soda, otherwise the whole visit had no human contact whatsoever. Maybe I'm old, but I still expect a degree of customer service when I visit an eating establishment.
