25-01 Thursday late afternoon. Sorry to say, but the pancake was not good, not busy but looks like a rush job. Loosing my faith... for now I would say.. go somewhere else. It's a pity.. but its not an constantly same quality. Maybe not go on a Saturday. One of the best places to get a Pannenkoek. Must say, I was there on a Wednesday and the Pannenkoek was not as normally. Probably a different chef. But normally.. just a real great place to be. Very friendly staff, dogs totally no problemo. And off course a great place to bring your children. They can see the ones baking the pannenkoeken . Which is very impressive.. a must go place when around Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I suppose it is to be expected that if you eat at 6:30 there will be a lot of boisterous young children at a pancake restaurant. The pancakes are very different to what I expected, as an Australian…. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Restaurant in beautiful setting (woods). We had a mix up where our (new?) waiting staff had accidentally put our main order on hold. We waited nearly 1.5 hours with extremely hangry kids and after repeatedly asking the same staff member for updates (she kept saying "it's just busy") we managed to get a hold of the floor manager who fixed the mistake, quickly got us the food and finally gave us some discount. Food quality was good, we liked the creative add ons on the pancakes, and appreciated the (small) discount but the overall experience was not as we would have liked it. Healthy range of Dutch fusion pancakes. Meat-free friendly. We were here for dinner on a weekday. I tried the Veluwe. Delicious. On the more savoury side, the ingredients worked brilliantly together and was well executed. Others on the table also enjoyed what they had. Dishes are very filling and none of us were able to finish our dishes. I wonder if we could bring our own takeaway box as my partner doesn't seem to think they have any on-site. Drinks seemed a tad expensive, but that's not why one would visit. Soft drinks we had came in 200ml glass bottles, €3,10 each. Service was reasonable. Go here if you're looking for modern Dutch cuisine. (As the first restaurant I visited in Utrecht, turned out it set a very high bar.) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30

One of the more interesting pancake houses in the Netherlands, in the beautiful forest near Zeist. Some really creative vegetarian pancakes with, for example, pulled mushroom, truffle and parmesan. They also have a version with mushroom ragout. Very tasty. Unlike most classic pancake houses, the pancakes here are topped with a huge amount of ingredients. A solid meal. Some of them almost ridiculous, in a good way. And of course you can make your own pancake as you like, based on the natural base pancake that is already very good. Delicious pancakes, huge portions, even for the kids' size pancakes. We had 'Topper' and 'Conference'. Good friendly service. They offer gluten free / lactose pancakes too. Good options for vegetarians. There is also a kids playground although maintenance / safety could be improved.

We went here for Valentines day. Very nice atmosphere and enough parking. Even though they were busy the food was prepared really quickly after placing our orders. Food was also very tasty! Ooooh and the dessert to die for. Definitely will be coming back!
