I love the macarons from Sweet Velvet!! Usually I pick them up myself because I pass it every day, but I received two deliveries recently, one for Valentine's Day and one today! The exceptional care that is put into packaging the macarons and the smile that the delivery person has on her face when she hands you the box, makes deliveries extra special!! I have been in france & the aesthetics & quality of every bite of these most flavorful Macarons will make you question your favorite dessert. If Rachel's Crepes of Lancaster had a Macaron place this is what it would feel like. One Macaron is the equivalent of eating a dessert at your preferred fine dining restaurant. I don't have the status to say what I will but quite honestly I highly suggest every Instagram influencer in the area to take a selfie in this place as its presence enlightens downtown Palmyra. There is no wheelchair accessibility which is unacceptable, and the stairs are very difficult to get up, and the door is extremely heavy. This is especially true for elderly and disabled patrons. The macarons are delicious, but I can't support this company because of the inaccessible nature of their storefront and because of how they've begun treating their employees. My husband asked me if I wanted my typical cheesecake for my birthday this year and I decided to switch it up & get some macarons! A friend of mine found Sweet Velvet through someone else, and I knew I had to try them. NOT at all disappointed! We popped in quick today for a box of 12 after looking at their flavors online & so far they're all delicious! Best part, you're supporting local ❤❤ I will definitely be back for more some day!!
