The Fact that Surfer Sands doesn't have a 5 star all-around is a travesty. When I lived in the area and work on the ambulance we would make it a point to snag a bite to eat. The Bread is perfectly made every day, good portions, fresh produce never frozen. If Surfer Sands shipped their food out of state I would pay handsomely! I am writing this review as I'm eating the "best sandwich" in Chattanooga TN. Only wishing I had a Surfer Sands sammy in my hands! Just got a smoked brisket sandwich advertised as a special and it was FANTASTIC!!! Great price too! The shop was closed. The owner was there making bread and he stopped to make us our sandwiches. This place is great. It is all to go. Great Philly cheese steak and wonderful fruit smoothies but my favorite was the Cajun chowder. It is my favorite chowder on the peninsula and I have had 90% of the chowder here. I have always wanted to try this place. Man, it did not disappoint. The cheesesteaks are to die for. I will definitely be visiting this place again. They only have outdoor seating.
