Bf and I tried this place after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for the Outback next door, and i’m very glad we did. the atmosphere is very nice & clean. the food was also very good. we had chips & queso, a corn on the cob and we both ordered birria tacos. i’m used to places being skimpy on protein and consomé but not here. the chips were obviously freshly made, nice & warm. the only thing i would note is the service from the waitress seemed to be a bit cold. though one of the gentleman seemed to take note and finally offered us refills. Restaurant was clean and had a cute warm ambiance. Waiter was friendly and attentive. My first time here so I “just ordered”… Prices were not bad but it would have been nice to receive freshly prepared food. Everything was room temperature. The corn wasn’t firm, the meat was on the dry side and there was no flavor. I had no clue the place looked so nice on the inside. My gf and I were in pj's looking a mess just wanted some burritos to go and the staff was so welcoming we ended up getting drinks at the bar while we waited. The margaritas was TOP NOTCH! This photo is posted on the wall in the restaurant and the waitress told us that it was wrong, that the fajita Wednesday is buy one get one half off. Then despite arriving before the supposed 5:00 happy hour time we were not offered that menu, however the Hispanic family next to us was able to order drinks off of it around 5:30. The waitress attended to them way more than us, brought their table of 2 two baskets of chips at a time and our table of 6 only one basket at a time. When we asked her about the happy hour size drinks they were getting at 5:30 she said oh happy hour is till 5. We didn’t get utensils for the whole table until well after we had our food at this point some of us decided to use the spoons that came with the our fajitas. We only received a refill on water one time. When it came time to pay she stood over us watching as we paid which was super uncomfortable. My 10 year old even asked at one point “ mom why is she mainly waiting on that table over there only”.
