Sunrise City Cafe is hands down the best breakfast/ lunch spot in town. The clean modern esthetic and friendly staff come along with a variety of breakfast and lunch options that never disappoint. I typically stop for a cup of coffee and fruit smoothie if I don't have time to sit down and enjoy something off the daily special menu. Without question one of if not the most efficient restaurants we've ever experienced. There was a wait to get in but once seated you are immediately welcomed and had no wait to place our order. Our breakfast was served probably within 5 minutes or less of ordering and was exceptional. Great place and a pleasure to see how well the staff all work together in such an efficient manner. Small place with great service by the girls. If there is a wait, don't worry, if moves fast. Food came quickly. We shared delicious Fried Green Tomatoes. I had a vanilla latte in a sugar-rimmed glass with whipped cream - not sure it latte already had sugar in it, but it was way too sweet. The Grits and Shrimp Skillet was very good. Fair prices. Great affordable brunch location. All the workers greeted us, checked on our table multiple times. We got seated, ordered and received our food is less than 30mins. These women as fast and sweet.
