We did a Google search for breakfast and this place came up at Castricum first. However apparently their kitchen opens at 11am and the only options are Lunch-options. The food was very good though and the staff very friendly and attentive. Despite being a beach pavilion the facilities are sparkly clean. Went here for breakfast. They only have sweet breakfasts (overnight oats, yoghurt with granola fruit and a LOT of honey and banana bread). No savoury breakfast no eggs no nothing. They only have 3 options and one of them was not available so two options. Overpriced, way too sweet, staff didn’t really respond when we said the yoghurt with granola was too sweet. They could have added a little container with honey or a little bowl, that way you can add honey according to your own taste. The menu doesn’t state which fruits are included with the yoghurt and granola. It only says fruit, personally I hate banana and that was one of the fruits. If the menu would have said rasberries, strawberries, orange, apple and banana, I would have asked them to remove the banana. Last but not least, I asked if they have a milk alternative (oat, almond, soy, etc.) they only have regular milk. Would not recommend! Go next door to Zoomers! A great place to grab a bite to eat or a sundowner looking out on the sea and soaking up some sun. The food is tasty, the service is attentive and vibe is relaxed. Fantastic location, right on the beach. Ample seating places. Very good and polite staff. Ordered beer and cocktail for drinks. Can’t go wrong with that :) Had ordered seafood pasta and fried gyoza. Pasta was good, decent quantity and had good variety of seafoods in it. In the first attempt it was very salty but then they changed it. Gyoza, did not notice that it was veg and was okayish. View is fantastic, but the quality of the food we got, drops everything to 1 Star. We had the Paella which was a joke. Dry, very salty and the muscles didn’t have any taste at all. Very much disappointed.

Lovely place with a sea view:) delicious mashroom soup, nice burger and sandwiches. Personnel are friendly though a bit unflexible /don't know what to do if you want to share food..

Every time I come to castricum to visit my family. this is a must go place everytime.i love cycling to castricum and Zee to have a nice Broot met Kroketten in sea beach pavilion. Very tasty leker and nice view to the sea. I love it.
