Went last night. Second time I've been here and it was excellent. The bread was light and the oil they served with it was almost like a hot sauce flavor without the kick (vinegar and peppery). The chili garlic spicy shrimp appetizer was tasty. The shrimp were good but the sauce was the star. They came served on a couple pieces of bread, which soaked up some of the sauce. I had the chicken scaloppini. Two smaller chicken breasts but still plenty, sauteed perfectly, covered in a creamy sauce with mushrooms, with mashed potatoes and blue cheese, and asparagus. Excellent dish! My wife had the half chicken. To our surprise it was deboned and served with veggies and a sauce that reminded me of pot pie. Not what we expected but also an excellent dish! We split a piece of carrot cake for dessert, and that was a good call - both on splitting it and on getting carrot cake. Dense cake with a good amount of cream cheese icing, topped with shaved crispy carrots, and candied walnuts on the side. We both loved it. I plan to go back again! Update - visit 2-17-2024 Had the triple dip appetizer, which comes with Brussels sprouts au gratin, hummus, and guacamole. We passed on the guac and got 2 portions of the hummus. The sprouts reminded me of a hot and cheesy artichoke dip. The hummus had some red pepper on top and was just excellent. It came with pita and crostini. Will get that again. My dinner was pan seared scallops over lobster risotto. The scallops were large, tasty, and cooked perfectly. The risotto was creamy and just great. This dish usually comes with filet medallions but they allowed me to sub the scallops since they had them for one of their specials. If you like scallops and have that opportunity - do it! My wife had the filet and shrimp, and she really enjoyed it. I had a taste and thought it was really good. Another great experience and I will plan to return! I really don't like to give 5 stars across the board. But, honestly, Stone Creek Dining deserves it. We visited here late one evening to celebrate my grand-daughter's confirmation. Such a lovely place. Stone Creek closed at 9:00 pm, and we had to make our reservations for 8:45. They did not even blink, but only said because of the late time to come with our dinner choices ready. But we did not feel rushed in the least. To begin with, we were served warm bread with a spicy olive oil dip with our veverage order. Quite good. They also brought butter for those who preferred. The salads were all fresh and tasty, even though our reservation was for 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. For an appetizer I ordered the shrimp cocktail. The five shrimp were very large and nicely chilled -- even the plate. Several of us chose the filet mignon for our entrees. Whether 6 oz or 8 oz, the result was still the same. Perfection. I appreciated that there were a couple sizes from which to choose. I don't believe I have ever had a better-cooked filet. I could almost cut it with a fork, and it was cooked perfectly as I asked. The only thing I would say is that it comes with parmesan cheese cooked onto the top of the steak; and while it was quite good, I am normally quite the steak purest: salt, pepper, garlic. done and done. So, just a note for people with similar tastes. I would say, if you want a good steak of any kind, this is the place to go. The steak dinner came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus with herb butter. Delicious. There was not a HUGE amount of potatoes, which I so appreciated (because when I order a steak dinner, I want it to be steak-forward!), and the asparagus was cooked perfectly -- a tender crunch. My husband ordered the Bucatini, which was equally delicious and very meaty. There was not a complaint with any dish that was ordered. Overall, Stone Creek Dining is a lovely place to dine. The decor was understated, but elegant. The service was great, and everyone was kind. They took the time to take us to the wine vault for a family photo, which was very thoughtful. I would highly recommend visiting Stone Creek Dining for any occasion, or just if you want a perfect meal in a lovely environment.
