My wife and I stopped at this restaurant while taking a drive looking to use restroom facilities. This was unfamiliar territory for us. We decided to stay and sample the food. Our waitress was competent and congenial and she was totally unfazed when my wife wanted to change her order. Our sandwiches were delicious and the fries and side of macaroni and cheese were excellent. Next time we take a drive, we just may make Spruce Creek Tavern our destination. Dining in here is incredible! The servers are fast, friendly and work hard! However, I do not recommend ordering to-go unless you know the menu. ALWAYS ask for french fries and salads on the side to avoid the inability to eat them due to the amount of sauce especially if you order the wing combo. The fries are soaked horribly! Had a great family outing late lunch. Food was excellent, and generous portions. Fries, wings, sandwiches, pizza and salads all were home runs with my family, kids, and inlaws. Great service too. Waited an hour and a half with 2 children. And because they didn't want empty seats at a table, we were we never seated. When I asked.the manager why. He states that is how they do things. So we never got a table. Price per person $1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes Fresh Cut Fries
