We visited Spaghetti Warehouse on a Sunday afternoon. Very very dark entryway. Took quite a few moments to adjust to the lack of entry lighting to make our way up the staircase. Being my first time there I was a wee bit confused as if I seated myself or if I was seated by a hostess. Thankfully the sweet young lady at the top of the stairs saw my confused look and rescued me. Hostess was super sweet. Our server was very friendly and polite. The decor though older is very well maintained and clean. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Our lunch was quite decent. Food is very subpar, lasagna noodles were not fully cooked, chicken Parmesan was dry and hard, calamari was bland. Service was extraordinary but for the fact there were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant I wouldn’t expect any less. Food service was fast as if it was premade and waiting to be served. Atmosphere and decor was charming and the restaurant definitely has potential to be great, but the food itself needs a ton of work and revamping! Atmosphere and design is awesome with a street car in the middle of the restuarant, stained glass windows around and even all the ceiling fans are ran by a large belt system which is neat. Unfortunatly the food and service didnt match. Calamari was crumbled batter and the Chicken parm was a tiny portion and lacked flavor. I enjoyed the ceaser salad thats about it. Waitress barely checked up on us, waited a while for our drinks. Was not busy either. Nice to try but probably will not return.
