This is what the roast beef sandwich looks like. Dollar store bread and deli meat with gravy is what I seems like. And sad tomatoes, lettuce and pickles on the side. Why? My “roast beef sandwich “ is drowning in gravy . 3/2/24 and I’m a guest in one of the rooms. Found pubic hair in the toilet, tub and hair in the sink. Very long wait time. Honestly, food was bland and the crackers served with the tomato soup were stale. The onion rings were fresh, but not very flavorful. The service was definitely not the best. Was expecting at least a fun atmosphere. Service was horrible and the food worse. Ordered onion rings which were just dripping with oil and looked burned. The grill cheese was just white bread with synthetic cheese. Couldn’t even finish half of it. French fries were good at least. My wife and I stopped by here about five years ago and from what I remember it was OK. Nice little tourist trap to grab lunch. Recently, we were out on a motorcycle trip with some friends (1/20/24) and decided to stop for lunch. I must say, after reading the reviews, all the negative ones are spot on. Where to start. Service. I would like to blame the large children's party in the back as an excuse for the slow service, but considering they left a short time after we arrived, obviously they had already eaten and no longer required service. I got the Double Jupiter burger with half and half (half fries half onion rings), my wife order the Spacey Melt. (I did not take pictures of our food.) I was worried the "double" would be too much but when they FINALLY brought out our food (it took way longer than it should have - almost makes you wonder if the servers were also the cooks), I was shock to see what I was paying so much for. WAY OVER PRICED!!!. Two squished hamburger patty's with cheese, a piece of bacon cut in half (to look like two), a leaf of lettuce, four pickles, and a tomato. The fried were tasty, the onion rings were greasy and gross. The Spacey Melt was no better, a hamburger patty (that wasn't squished liked mine), sauteed onions and sliced swiss cheese. We were never given silverware, and had to ask for napkins. I order ice tea, but once the food was delivered we never had a server come back and check on us, so no refill. We never received our checks. Who knows how long we would have waited to get a check. We all just got ready to go and converged at the cash register. I heard someone say, "I'll be right there." I ended up paying $39.48 for something, not sure what, but considering what the menu showed for prices, that sounded about right. Could be a really nice quaint, touristy trap place, if under the right management and had some renovations. Otherwise, skip this place and go grab some fast food somewhere. Quality of fast food might be a little better, and you wont have to worry about the shoddy service (place your order and step away from the counter) On a positive note, the bathrooms were clean. First time and we had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, amazing space decor and bathrooms were stocked and clean. The food came out quickly, our order was correct and food was great. The service was spot on as well. We were greeted quickly, sat and checked on throughout our meal. I will definitely stop by again!!!
